Well no, you said he just says he wants a car that dances. The job is more detailed than that. He makes every decision along the way. If he screws up it's on him because he didn't direct it right and if it gets it right - he should get some credit.

If you look at his short films and at D9, you can tell it's his style. That being said - of course it is a team effort. But every team has a leader.

The money comes from a producer. The writer writes the script. The director comes up with the visual treatment. Do you think the 3D guys just do the right version from the get go? No, he has to say "Do it like this...it needs to do etc etc"

Anyway, you guys are all totally right, he should get nothing. The 3d guys should just make everything 3D all day long. Maybe they could make this comment 3D and then run the U.S.A. and rescue babies from 3D fires. Because shit, these guys sound awesome...

I like how when this car transforms, it keeps all the parts of the original car. In the movies, they transform and somehow gain 2 more tires and lose a door, etc...

yeah i like how simple machines made of mostly plastic parts transform into incredibly complex machines made out of steel. like the cell phone in trans. 1 in the glass box. there isn't enough metal in a cell phone to fill a bottle cap with.

I was only using the wheel as an example for the point I was trying to get across. I guess you're too stupid to understand that. And actually since you bring up Optimus Prime, he's a good example of what I mean. He has 10 wheels as a big rig, but when he transforms, he only has 6 wheels. That is a perfect example. I was saying that the transformed result had few parts(or added a new parts)from the original car.And yeah, I'm trying to look cool.... Im talking about transformers on youtube...idiot

Look closely and you can see the inner tire looking like a flower because it has split up to allow the outer tire to fit into it. Prime doesn't lose the tires, they go into each other. The bots do grow extra parts though, like flywheels, clutches and timing chains on each side of the car for symmetrical purposes. Other parts split for no apparent purpose other than to provide ears and wings. This Citroen's design = win. I like how the cooling fans are still on. Bay would've had them as ears.
