  • I read some people's comments talking S""T about this bike. My main complaint is IT's NOT MINE. Beautiful wouldnt change a thing

  • thats beautiful!

  • not much of a chopper fan myself, but you can leave your address here so I can steal it anyway. ;)

j/k, very nice ride and burbbling

  • one of the best choppers I've ever seen! build with taste, really cool looking

  • FRAEKING SWEEEEEEEEET!!!

  • it'd be better if it wasn't so shiny and clean. and if it actually ever got ridden. i like the tranny, i don't like the color or the shiny chrome or the tan seat myself, to each his own though, i do dig the springer, the tank emblems, the air cleaner (tear drops do get old to look at!)the rr fender is sweet as can be, and the drag bars and headlamp look good on that front end. just ride the bejesus out of it! its disrespectful to let old machines just sit.

  • nice ride man!!!!!

    cheers from germany

  • VERY NICE!!!!

  • One of the best babes that i ever seen in my life... congratrulations from Brasil, Hot Choppers MC.

  • Sweet ride .

  • what song is that?????????

  • krachermoped.

da wird der pimmel dick, unglaublich,

    alles richtig gemacht.

  • quite possibly the coolest bike i have ever seen... wow that is beautiful.....

  • everything is perfect

  • Did any of you "bikers" realize this is NOT a '55? HD only made this motor from '65 thru '68! I'm very surprised nobody caught this! Shame, shame. LOL! Who gives a shit about the tanks! The motor is what makes this scooter. This one runs fckn good stroked at 88 inches!!! This bike gives me a hard on!!!!!

  • We'll he does say its a pan-shove. Looks like a pan bottom end to me, and it is in a wishbone frame.

    Neat looking pan!

  • that'll be a dream to ride

  • Perfect Sound !!!

    Best ever !!!

  • super.

  • Why does the tank has two caps?

I am just wondering, how is this type of a bike (I mean hardtail) for an everyday riding? is it still quite comfortable?

  • If the seat is springed then its no problem. And almost all harleys have split tanks, and both tanks have caps. On the old ones you can screw both off. On the new ones its only the right one that works as a cap. Both tanks are always connected.

  • He is using the origenal Tank. back in the day the left side of the tank was were the oil was the right side was for the gas. It came in 2 Halves so you can see he put an oil tank and battery box below the seat so no dought he has a cross over tube so he can run gas in both Halves

  • WOOOW THATS NICE!

  • very nice!

  • any oy yall no what song that is??

  • i have a chubby looking at this bike

  • i love this bike ..did it sell?

  • everything that could be said is said - awesome bike!!!!!!

one question: the tank looks like one from the old WLAs because of the shifter attachment on the left tank side bu it is too narrow... what kind of tank is it (which brand), or did you take an old one and modified it?

  • I would have had the seat black and I'm not fond of the double fill-up gas tank, but otherwise....VERY NICE!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful!!

  • would you build a bike like this fot me?

  • thats no ironhead dude...

  • Its a shovelhead.

Ironheads were mainly sportsters (and crap engines at that)

  • Comment removed

  • an ironhead is NOT a shovelhead you fucking moron. AN ironhead is an early sportster, the heads are made of IRON, a SHOVELHEAD, shown here, has ALUMINIUM heads. moron

  • Sweet!

  • nearly tha best

  • yes i saw this beast on e-bay!! sweet!!

  • son of a bitch, that's a cool bike.

  • You've got the same shoes as me... I'd rather have the harley though ):

    Awesome bike

  • put single fire ignition on it and a magnito and ya got a bad ass old scooter.

  • Freaking gorgeous!

  • Awsome piece of iron

  • another fine example of a HD bobber. good job

  • that's kinda cool

  • to: americanmuscle85...thats a pretty good description ! I love choppers, Mike

  • What a fuckin beautiful bike dude.

  • 1955 ? With an early shovel engine?

  • Its not entirely impossible for the engines to be switched, or maybe this is an original panhead thats been modified, shovel top ends and rocker boxes, making it an early shovel for some, but technically its still a panhead.

The last mentioned is the exact same case with a bike I just bought yesterday!

  • i forgot to say that i really like this bike!!!

  • I agree. Also, to emphasize what you said, the lowers on pans and shovels are alot a like and are often times used in conjunction with each other. I've even seen a "panster" before. Panhead top end with a sporty lower. I think it was in American Iron. I hate that magazine though.

  • exellent!!!

  • Cool, but which part is 1955?

  • As long as the frame is from 1955 it rules superior, it doesn't matter if this is an early shovel or an evo for that sake. And yes, if it were an original 1955 it would have a panhead as an engine.

  • that's rock&roll on two wheelz!!

    respect from germany

  • Nice job, that's the way to build em. None of this fat tire outer space theme bike crap. WTF do you you do with a bike with airplane wings or fire truck crap hung on it? You sure don't ride it!

  • That sounds nice. You got it dialed in. I would call it a bobber though. Not a chopper. Do you still have the old pan top end?

  • Whats your definition regarding the word bobber and chopper?

  • To me, the difference between them is bobbers preceded choppers. It was when the foot controls were mid controls. The handlebars were in a pretty stock position. There wasn't any rake or extension to the front end.

To me the difference in a chopper is the controls go forward, the handlebars come up, the front ends go out. It could be any combination of those things, or all of them.

  • ive come to more or less the same conclusion, to me a bobber is a bike with only the neccesary equipment on it, so this 1955 panshovel would be a bobber.

A chopper in my world doesnt need to be raked or have forwoard controls , but as the word implies (chopper) I think the frame at least has to be grinded or somehow chopped for it to be modified according to the owners liking.

  • Thats a tough lookin ride you got there.Sounds sweet, Love it !!!
