  • was this recorded in/around the date of the video upload? because they played a few of the songs (although not full band versions) in maine in february of 09

  • the bobbing at the beginning tells you that you're in for a treat

  • haha i feel for the people in the crowd, cuz there really isnt anyway that u can dance or move to this song... but thats one of the reasons its great

  • @tableface0157 What? This song is groovy as hell, yeah its slow, but still, its got a constant groove throughout the whole song. This song is super easy to dance to. Though you were right about it being great.

  • LOL the people in the crowd don't know what to do.

  • yeuh!!! rep it lefty baby!!

  • I sit hear obsessing over make my music so complex and these people com along with the minimalist tip and blow my mind. cool stuff.

  • the opening riff reminds me of a beatles song but i can't think of it

  • ahahahaah ! it's not that complicated though.. but .. ahahah.

  • I was thinking more of the people in the crowd 'dancing'

  • yeah yeah i know. haahah and i thought it was funny.

  • Yeah, looks kinda uncomfortable

  • the best song !!

  • YES!!!!

  • This performance was at Terrace Club @ Princeton University (hence the channel being PrincetonMusicScene)...it was the night before the Dirty Projectors officially released their track list and title of Bitte Orca in Spring 2009

  • Yes, this is correct. Dave also said this was the first time they performed any of the songs off Bitte Orca live, ever.

  • BEAUTIFUL! :D

  • I love this song

  • white boy rock and funk. do the thang

  • it'd be great to see dirty projectors in this kind of setting

  • great song. too bad they weren't playing in a good city. From the looks of the crowd, it seems like they are at a ninth grade dance somewhere in Iowa.

  • i live in iowa and most people suck

  • what do you mean? small venues like these are awesome.

  • Small venues are the best, really.

  • I was just about to comment on how the whole audience must have just came from a funeral.

  • where and when was this??

  • i'm really in the need of seeing this live
