I would give one finger if I could get back on time and attend this gig. Sweet Mercury, Deacon, May and Taylor... How I wish I have seen you in those glory days...
I like the fst verse sound was good and chorus and all of the part of this song wow i cant belive it ven the gays our have talent like playing guitar and drums wow this tour was a hitorical tour and
this tour was heavy metal sound like metallica and omg but queen was so very talented even roger he cant play guitar long live queen amazing tour
Yes, they made many good songs in the 1980´s but they were not that good than in the 1970´s . Innuendo was again fantastic but unfortunately that stopped.
I like the skills of Roger and especially the guitar work of Brian. But I think that´s how it is.
Maybe it's a good thing the camera work isn't so good, as the high notes are overdubbed. He didn't hit these notes until 1986. So without the overdubs, it probably sounded something close to the Hammersmith 1975 performance.
The high notes were not overdubbed. In fact, with Freddie's nodules in the 80s it was a difficult struggle to sing that high. However in the 70s he didn't have nodules, so it was easier to sing high notes. The nodules is what caused him to get that husky tenor voice that we know in most of their 80s songs.
You are right. people thinks that make falsetos is more difficult. it was easy for Freddie in the 70;s. In 80;s there wasnt falsetos but the entonation and higtest notes were in the 80,81 y 82 and it was better, more quality and more difficulte for any singer. for example Pavaroti did not make falsetos never because it;s easy for every singer, my english is not to god. excuse me
I have spent the better part of today listening to other rock groups and there is absolutely no comparison---Queen still tops them all and always will.
I completely agree, there wasn't, still isn't and never will be a better band all around!! I love them so much! And they all were SO talented, and Freddie and Roger were SO HOT!! :)
The guy got even better with age.....but there is no fucker today who can even match those early day vocals and performances.....let alone when he was King....God must be smiling up there. I often am amused by the thought that in future years, when people claim to hear a heavenly choir, that a guy with big teeth and a moustache is amongst them leading with an ice breaking "Day oooooh!" LOL
So humour is something you do not understand? Have you stopped to think what the username really means? :) Don't think too hard, might have a breakdown lmwao
Young Mercury.. The god of rock music. Unbelievable that man, just incredible. So much more than a normal human, as it seems. R.I.P our dearest Freddie !!
After 20 years from his death, the world knows well what we lost.

Though Freddie joined late in to the ashes of Smile he was the Queen in my opinion. You can disagree but this is my opinion.

this was a good performance!! lots of falsettos!!
gdsc4 3 years ago 3
A correction:Freddie sings the "easy" and "risky" parts in falsetto in 1974, but the overdubs were made on "I can see what you want me to be".
