    I really enjoyed it.

    Many **********

    Friendly greetings,

    Michael

  • I have the single bought in France in 1980.

  • It's probably worth a fortune...

  • @andrewfrank2504 I have it also! I was dating a French girl in the states and she gave it to me!So now yours is worth half as much!LOL

  • I love this!! thanks for putting this

  • i like it alot go elton and France Gall

  • Thank you!

  • sublime !!!!

  • La vache !!! c'que c'était bien!!!!!

  • I really love the melody, very Michel Berger. Too bad the quality of the video is so poor. Never mind. J'aime la chanson de toute facon

  • And two good performers. I have listened to Elton John for a long time, and I was surprised to find out he did a duet with France Gall. A lot of EJ's old albums state "Recorded in France" on the labels of old U.S. pressings under the MCA label.

  • Yes, he recorded some of his best work in France. HONKY CHATEAU, DON'T SHOOT ME I'M ONLY THE PIANO PLAYER and GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD were all recorded in the Chateau d'Hierouville, north of Paris. He also did some work on his 1981 album THE FOX in France. Coincidentally, that was around the same time that Elton's duets with France Gall were released there.

  • Interesting. That's probably where he got the idea for "Honky Chateau". Yes, those old albums indeed state "Recorded in France" on the record labels from 30+ years ago, and are pretty darn good albums just the same. Sir Elton John never lets us down. I thought this was an interesting coincidence (a duet w/ FG).

  • Merci, ça c'était de la musique !!!!

Elton John and Michel Berger are the best in the world. And in this song, they are "together", if we can say. France Gall was also a very good singer.

    Magnifique chanson !!!!!

  • I love this!!

    Thanks!

  • Hi, thanks for putting this back up.
