For the last time yes! Damon Albarn, esteemed singer of the blur, went on to create one of the greatest bands in history, the gorillaz (in collab. With jamie hewlett)
Oasis is undeniably a great rock band. Blur, on the other hand, is one of the greatest musical acts of the century. I'd say they're the best English band since the Beatles.
@oswaldoasis They play it safe musically, ANYBODY can make music like that. I'm a fucking musician I know a little bit about it. Damon Albarn takes risks that's why he gets my vote.
i agree oasis did something amazing that is so inspire alote of kids to start bands bout BLUR explored alote more than oasis so they took alote more risks than oasis because oasis after morning glory the only thing it kept them going was the fucking money they werent a real band.
Yes, I totally agree! The first time I heard this song I almost cried, it's so beatiful and perfect. Wonderwall is a great song too, and I won't go hating on Oasis, but in my opinion it's completely overrated.
I teard up when Damon Raised his hand proudly and sang, also at the end where the crowed was singing then Damon looked.... Such an amazing person Damon is.
the last minute is so moving.. Damon says "thank you very much Reading.. thank you", holds the mike in the air and the whole crowd sings the outro, you can see he is loving it. one of the best performances of the best song of all time.
Watching this song is the greatest festival moment i have ever had. Watching this again brings it all back, everything from the picture frame lights on the stage to Damon's look of pure enjoyment at hearing thousands of people sing the words he wrote. I'll never forget being in the crowd for that moment.
Seeing this brings back a lot of happy memorys that was a damn good night it is a shame coxon wasn't with them anymore but non the less i'm glad to have seen blur
It's hard to see how time makes people change, I remember blur, damon wearing jeans, tshirt, and the hair falling on his face, now he's wearing a suit, shined shoes, and had different posture, but the music and the ideals remains the same, thanks for that, I'd hate them if they sold themselves out to politics like U2greenday
Yeah, in 1999 they were supossed to be in there ain´t it?? mmmhhh, quizás debí escribirte en español... si te consuela te diría que no son tan buenos... pero desafortunadamente si lo son.
I was at Leeds the night before, I wasn't expecting much, but they were triumphant, and for me, the last I'd see of Blur. I think it's good that they've called it a day, end on a high and all that...

don't get why everybody is so mad with Simon Tong. Hes descent guitarist. They could've carried on with him
nblBer 2 years ago 2
Yeah, Simon's a decent guitarist, but he's not Graham, is he?
I'm not "mad at him" though, that's totally stupid. It's not like it's his fault that Graham left.
