God dint order us to wear any particular dress BUT to be modest and not reveal one's physical beauty in a way that may arise sexual tension. A school enforces uniform so that all students appear the same and would not be taken as anything else but a student. @redmalli: But another thing I should mention, if a country is orginally governed by Islamic law, then according to Islamic law you cannot build places for worship of other gods in that country, that's the rule. So if any1 breaks the rule, the country has rights to stop them. Now whether Afghanistan's been a proper Islamic country, I dont know. If it were, the removal is justified (not sure if the demolition is), but if they weren't an Islamic country, I'd say the demolition was unjustifiable.

God dint order us to wear any particular dress BUT to be modest and not reveal one's physical beauty in a way that may arise sexual tension. And it applies for both women and men. and women by doing that they'll protect themselves from evil eyes, the req is a bit higher in women's case (covering their hair for example) than men but thats coz women aren't moved by physical beauty of men AS MUCH AS men are by that of women

Search on any other religions' scriptures (Bible, Torah, Hindu scriptures, possibly Psalms (havent checked)) they all say more/less the same thing.

So the school uniform was as muslim dress. Those hindu girls put on head scarves and pijamas in a house close to that school and removed after school finishes every day. A school enforces uniform so that all students appear the same and would not be taken as anything else but a student.
