I think he's saying, every human being must try to keep his real thoughts, the real things he thinks of doing, the real bad in him. Yet must behave like a normal person.

My only question though, what is; a normal person?

I think with the word normal he means you have to try to transfer your thoughts in an understandable way to others and not explicitly try to shock, repulse or scare others.
