For all the ignorant people proclaiming that MMA is so much better and that this is stupid, let me give you something that may be too complex for your comprehension.

MMA is a conglomeration of fighting styles, something of a bastardization of traditional martial art forms. These kicking techniques could be added into any fighters repertoire to give him more striking options.

You people should know that Savate originated from sailors as self defense, so I wouldn't bash this style of fighting.

name ONE martial art that is not incomplete. martial arts is about bettering yourself and the art through trial and error. i myself am not a trained fighter, but i trained a tiny bit of kickboxing by a man who also knew some savate, and when was in elementary my parents put me in karate as just an after school thing. and i find what i learned from kickboxing and savate more useful. those low kicks i learned could injure a violent drunks leg and let me leisurely make my exit, very useful.

though i find it funny how the karate instructor seemed to have an obsession with nut shots, and took every chance to show why a man should never leave his junk unprotected.

though i prefer to watch savate matches they seem so much more elegant than other MA matches i've seen
