After the Uberoid firmware you will browse internet little bit faster, the flash 10.1 is fixed ( you can watch videos from the browser and or play simple flash games, but you need to wait because it is hard to load sites like cnn), also read books (pdf, doc, txt, epub, fb2, djvu, etc.). Maybe a simple emulation of some old gameing consoles. There is Chinese console called Dingoo A320 it is slower (cpu 336MHz, 32Mb RAM, 4Gb but that thing emulates a LOT! Dingoo Wiki)
Which CPU this one have? VIA WM8650 or WM8505? How many RAM have 256MB like most of ChinaPADs?
There is a way to make it faster without soldering. You 'll need a modified firmware. Is faster and better app compatibility ( even you play some of simple games on your device). The firmware is called UBEROID, it is based on Android OS 1.3.x and also there is a firmware based on 1.5.x . It will be a downgrade ( if you have Android 1.6 or 2.2 like most of cheap TPCs), but the performance will increase.
@NGA2010G And this is based on exactly what fact, because they are made in china (IPAD & moony other Apple Products) or is because it doesn't have enough features. Please point out why you believe an affordable touch tablets for most Americans and others around the world not living the Vida Loco and filled to the brim with money would even choose any other products like the costly IPad's (Made in China, probably by the same people) or other American controlled corporate products? Not bashing.
