@klautaku The Spanish version did not exist when I created the video. Latin version, only in Brazilian Portuguese, which was an adaptation. The original version is played on the piano, but I adapted to use in this video.

There is apparently another English version that actually uses the original music. The autotune pop version featuring Noah Cyrus is just used on radio Disney to promote the movie. It's not the ONLY version, thank god.

Actually, "sakana no ko" can *also* be translated as "child of the fish", since it *can* literaly mean it?

Sakana = Fish

No = Possession verb thingy

Ko = Child

Perhaps, if we took the context into consideration, it could mean 'fishchild' or as most interpreters put it, mermaid. :) We won't know till someone who really speaks the language does a proper English interpretation instead of a superficial translation.

the finnish version is not official, it is made by finnish studio Ghibli fan. It was originally made for her friends children who wanted to sing along so she made lyrics in finnish for them. ^o^

Yep. Ponyo is not release in here yet and might not come up here north before Autumn. Finnish translation in this multilanguage reel is fanmade and singing is "amateur" performance as mentioned above.

Gake no ue no Ponyo comes to Finland hopefully in August or September.
