As an American Christian who's read hundreds of books while studying WW2 I find it not only horrid, but rather pathetic that there are people who "deny" the Holocaust. Yes, the footage is from Dachau, but it shows a real gas chamber. Everyone agrees that a gas chamber for murdering people was built in Dachau- whether or not it was used is up for historical debate- but zyklon B was certainly used in Dachau to fumigate clothing from lice. The footage helps demonstrate what this incredible survivor and role model for us all is discussing- how she lost her mother. She saw so much hate but still found the strength to carry on and love. The only thing sad about this video is that the creator of the video used footage from the Dachau showers to portray 'gas chambers'. No reputable historian these days claims that there were ever gas chambers in Dachau and the footage is simply misleading. Whoever created this video may have done this in good faith and out of ignorance but the result is opposite: it gives ammunition to holocaust deniers/revisionists.

Some people killed by Germans for being Jews didn't really consider themselves Jews in the sense of religion, they just had Jewish ancestors, which means that people were being murderd because of their ethnicity, not faith. Gee I thought that the fake shower gas chambers were never used. But the video shows them as if that is what happened to her mother. It is much more likely that her her mother fell victim to one of the typhus epidemics that ravaged the camps, as a result of the allied bombing destroying the German infrastructure. With out railroads and bridges it was difficult enough to feed the army and the civilian population, much less people who were interned in camps.

The showers depicted in this video are the ones from Dachau. Auschwitz-Birkenau never had any "fake showers" despite the "survivors" claiming them to have been the method of gas introduction.
