"If we love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude, than the animating contest of freedom—go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
--- Samuel Adams, Speech at the State House of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, 1 August 1776
This is all good and well to expose but how about we talk about how we as humans are sovereign from US jurisdiction anyways. Just another expansion to the old, sadly mainly unknown fight that is the only one worth fighting and dying for; You are not required to follow or subject yourself to US jurisdiction let alone UN!!!
Dont get trapped into fighting to save an entity that you DO NOT want to give your soverignity to in the first plavce. hope you look into that
this man is full of bullshit. The americans didnt become a party to the law of the sea because theyre greedy and want all the oil they can get their grimy hands on in their neighbouring waters
People that support the Law of the Sea Treaty also support taking it up the ass. And paying the UN for deep sea rocks. Write your senator, and explain how gay LOST is.
@toweronepower How gay: It's so gay, that one of the lead supporters of it on facebook is a tranny. Seriously. No shit. I am not making that up. As far as the second part of your question, I'll only answer if you're a member of the International SeaBed Authority, who I cordially invite to blow me.
The LOST is terrible news. Reagan killed it in the mid-80's but Bush 43 is now supporting it. It is terrible for our country, our businesses and our future. The ocean is one of the last frontiers left to research and why should we hand over our rights to some UN board, similar to the WTO. PLease email and call your U.S. Senator and let them know you oppose LOST. Sen David Vitter of LA opposes it but we don't have a commitment from Sen Landrieu. We are hemming our country in.
The open sea is FREE it belongs to NO ONE and especially not to the U.N.
Tyranny is lurking everywhere and the American people are like Zombies being led to their demise by the NWO puppet masters.
America has chosen death over liberty. The forefathers fought and died for nothing, because their spineless and ignorant offspring have abandoned their responsibility to the constitution.
The Law of the Sea Treaty has passed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee by a vote of 17-4. The measure will now be sent to the full Senate for ratification.
Article VI of the constitution: "all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land ".
Please email, write or phone your Senators immediately regarding this attack on our national sovereignty or we'll be one step closer to the new world order.
To Suburp212 - Talk about bringing up a subject that completely has nothing to do with the other. Reagan had them taken down after the energy crisis and worries about dependence on foreign oil had subsided. And hey... maybe the solar panels cost too much to maintain at the time.
Lets understand something; I believe in national sovereignty as much as the next American, but it is not just liberals who bring about these idess as the Bush Admin. believed selling our ports and leaving our borders open was ok as well, Lou Dobbs for president!!!!
It's already happening, nobama has officially pushed the law of the sea treaty.

Ronald Reagan also removed the solar panels from the white house and opposed all alternative energy projects...

This law would enable the New World Order to have absolute athority over the sea waters and sea bed crawling all the way up to the shore.
