As much as it is a simple slide for kids, I do think it a bit inappropriate for a disaster to be made into a kids' attraction. Also, any children or relatives to the survivors or even the ones who didn't, are very likely to be alive. Many who survived were women and children, remember. The children say, 1 month to 12 years who survived could easily have had children anywhere between 1920 and 1940.

I'm from Minnesota, and in one of our larger cities I saw this same slide except it was much taller, once when I was a small child and then again a couple weeks ago. Even at a young age, I knew this was just disrespectful and sad to have as a slide when over 1,500 souls were lost in the sinking of the Titanic.
