I think this winter I may do a start to finish video. It will start with the Movember stash and go until the spring so I can actually have some video evidence of how long it takes me to grow this monster

@lifesnotfair Thanks! I don't find it awkward at all. In fact, I have gotten quite a lot of attention from my beard. Unfortunately, I only grow this in the wintertime...it's too hot and gross to have in the summer time. So, see you next winter :)

You must have a very strong growth to be able to grow it in such a short period of time.

Have you ever entered one of those competitions for beard/tache growers?

There's a guy on British TV, Dick Strawbridge, who has a really bushy one, though not quite as broad as yours. To get the best idea of bushiness, it's best to view it side-on like your firstmost pic shown above.

I have no intention of getting rid of mine just yet.

@glisses7 It comes in pretty heavy. I've never considered entering one of those competitions. They are either very scarce or I just don't know where to look here in the Toronto/Hamilton area.

Truth of the matter is though that I rarely keep it past the spring. I find that it gets far too hot and humid for my liking in this area to sustain a growth like that on my face.

I subscribe to the thought that if you like it, you should keep it. Do you have any video or images of yours?

That's a good tache - you had. I prefer it growing down the way and not really shaped at all. How long does it take you to grow it fully? I've been growing mine for well over a year now, although it's now going grey. I'm 44. I've been Googling all about moustache growth in general and it would appear I'm eating the right foods for more Testosterone production which is responsible for secondary male characteristics such as moustaches. They're not in fashion right now alas.

@glisses7 Thanks! I only really shape it when I'm feeling silly that day. To get to where you see in the video, that takes me about 4 months. To grow a full beard, about a month to a month and a half. It depends on how much beer/scotch I ingest in the initial stages of beard growing :)

They may not be in fashion right now, but I do have a feeling they're making a comeback. With events like Movember and such pushing the cause along.
