  • so which pixel is derrick coleman?

  • First time I see mix with music from Del The Funky Homosapien. lol

  • There were a lot of players that could/should have been better than they were but Coleman should have been discussed as one of the best PFs of all time. He had everything and then some as a player

  • This man is walking proof, talent without effort is worthless. undeniably one of the most talented players to ever set foot on court. undeniably his attitude made him worth no more than 47,000 views on a low bitrate youtube vid.

  • RIP Drazen Petrovic...a real baller.....a maestro!!!!

  • @noloxss thanks for respect of petro, im from croatia , and that nets from 90,s was a great team.

  • So much wasted talent....a 20-10 guy with handle and range....should had been a HOF....ended being an bonafide scrub...

  • He could have been Karl Malone who can also shoot the 3. Feel bad for the guy I'm kinda surprised it doesn't happen more often to players to fall victim in all that side shit.

  • @joeyh31 dont feel bad, talent without effort is worthless. hes not a victim of anything but his own attitude.

  • How is there not more DC mixes on youtube? This guy coulda been one of the best ever. Look at his stats from his first few years. They're bananas.

  • most wasted talent ever..

  • Those Nets teams of the early 90's were real shoulda, woulda, coulda teams. One or two pieces away from being a contender and never grew. Drazen Petrovic's death was the beginning of the end.

  • Coleman is the only All-Star Sports Illustrated called a bust.

  • he shitted on that dude with that pass damn shame how his career ended up

  • Anybody have the footage where he kicks Corliss Williamsons ass from one free throw line to another ?

  • hey that was funny?

  • omg Corliss is SF not C

  • @uranazidar Yep I need to find that Video as well!!!

  • this dumbass cudve been really good like top 10 PF of all time reminds me of shawn kemp

  • i agree 100% he had so much skill. he had the best handle for a power forward could rebound and block a shot or two when motivated. He just fell in love with the buffet.

  • song name plz?

  • "No Need For Alarm" by Del tha Funkee Homosapien

  • Coleman is probably the only All-Star who could be considered a bust.

  • Good point

  • great big man. great trash talker. he was nasty on defense. great shot blocker. he could rebound and dunked hard as hell. he had great handle for a guy his size. nice post up moves. even though he was fat he had hustle.

  • nice song...del is dope

  • remember those days mmmhhhh nasty he and kenny anderson deserve a ring in that era.

  • The scary thing is, he never reached his full potential as good as he was. This guy had a chance to be one of the top 5 best power forwards ever. He truly was wasted talent.

  • Sadly man guys like that. Shawn Kemp among one of them. Shaq to an extent (considering his once in a century athleticism and physique). Isiah Rider if he focused more for the sport.

I won't say top five but highly notable in the 90's.

  • damn

  • Whoopty Damn Do!!

  • Was that the dude from Hangin' With Mr. Cooper????

  • Chris Bosh is DC reincarnated...without the weight/drug/failed potential issues.

  • unfortuately, DC is never afraid to take it inside due to his awesome size. Bosh would rather take a mid range jumper than get in the mix down the low block.

  • @armstrong2mcgrady2k1 No way Michael Beasley is DC reincarnated...they are exactly same thing...

  • @armstrong2mcgrady2k1 bosh cant hit the 3

  • michael beasley got a similar game to him

  • stop saying shit you heard other people say you dumb bitch

  • @mtl8484 coleman had more all around game though than beasley at this point

  • the 94-95 nets were one of the most dysfunctional teams in nba history...the 99-00 clippers, 95-96 dallas mavericks, and the 06-07 new york knicks are the only teams that had worse chemistry

  • he is a poster boy for unrealized potential could have been the greatest powerforward ever he just lacked work ethic what a waste of talent

  • Derrick Coleman could've been a top 5 power forward of all time if he wasn't a lazy ass.

  • @mastercrap77 Well now Derrick is broke...and $5million dollars in debt.

  • he just couldn't keep his nose clean...

  • anotha deeeee-troit product

  • he's a much bigger version of charles barkley. too bad he just didn't keep his focus.

  • When did the Nets wear the Light blue to white uniforms? Because those look crazy!

  • In 1990 the went to them and then changed them when they Drafted Kenny Andersen

  • Waste of talent

  • Sounds similar to a guy named Lamar Odom...

  • Lamar Odom is no waste of talent jerk. He could be the best basketball player in the league right now scoring 25 ppg but all that stuff does not matter to him anymore. The only thing he cares about now is winning a championship. Unlike Coleman L.O is a true team player. BTW Coleman is no bust 16 ppg how is that a failure??

  • cuz he didn't work hard then he became more fat that's why he is a waste of talent

he coulda been one of the greats

  • Quinton Ricardson anybody?

  • DC could do it all, except live up to his high billing. He made only one damn all star team and was never a dominant player. He was a bust and a joke.

  • Dc can do it all shot, pass, dribble, block very smart almost like barkley

  • great look at prime dc and nice music too...thanks

  • uno de los peores numeros uno de la historia del draft, perdido por poca determinación ni capacidad de liderazgo y poco entrenamiento.

  • So much talent. A great PF in the early 90's.

  • I wouldn't really call him a bust, he did avg 20 and 10 for a few season early in his career. His attitude and bad work ethic were a huge factor in his decline. I mean, if Shaq had the same passion and work ethic that Derrick Coleman had he wouldn't have won 4 rings or even be in the league right now. DC had the skills but didn't have the maturaty. His passing, speed and ball handling for someone that size could have made him one of the best post players in the 90's.

  • Shaq is a different story. I wouldn't say he's not motivated but Shaq somewhat met his full potential however he could have dominated both sides of the court if he wanted to. DC had the skillset, physique and athleticism that was beyond many of his peers then. But instead of working harder to be the best, he took what was given to him and never complained.

  • wat a bust

  • :53 I bet that's what practice at syracuse looked like for rony seikaly

  • how u b LazY nd a superstar at once? ask DC...

  • dc's the only guy in game history to dunk and block shaq whilst shaq was still at his peak. respect

  • del the funky homosapien ," catch a bad one"

  • del the funky homosapien ," catch a bad one"

  • whats the name of this song and title

  • what the name of this song and singer

  • oh yeah where is DC now...Shaq didnt even contest the shot...no one has ever dunked on Shaq...they better recognize where the Diesel is at!

  • Shaq didn't contest the shot are u kidding me?

  • Please man.. Go watch other versions of the dunk on youtube and you'll find a video of Shaq saying himself that Derrick dunked on him. GTFOH...

  • Del Tha Funkee Homosapien + Derrick Coleman = an unbeatable combination

  • wow he was talented, and that shaq dunk DAMNNN

  • what song is this and great vid

  • NUMBER ONE PICK 1990, GREAT SELECTion, too bad he had bad attitude

  • No one has ever banged on Shaq...was all rumors..Shaq banged hard on David Robinson in the 1996 All Star Game..its on youtube...u wont find a video of anyone banging on Shaq though.

  • Try "Derrick Coleman Shaq"...you'll see it. Even Shaq admits it.

  • not true, jordan dunked on shaq in 1996 and David Robinson too

  • is he the only person who dunked on shaq

  • No, I've seen David Robinson Dunk on Shaq in one Western Conference Final, and I've also seen Lawrence Funderburke dunk on Shaq. If I can dig out my old tapes, I'll try and post those dunks.

  • oh yes, he dunked on shaq.

  • He banged on shaq i want to see a video named dunked on shaq

  • great mix. DC was the man when he actually tried a litte bit.

  • Talented but didn't care. Could have been a hall of famer.

  • nice one handers and assists

  • Where's the part where he pisses in his pants?
