Love Valve's talent in making cinematic adventures and significant game worlds. Gabe really did things damn well! Portal 2's ending is a great example, although the "cinematic adventure" element can obviously be seen back in Half-Life 1, then 2.. And Portal.. and overall, just highly awesome games. So whatever you say about Gabe (fat jokes) or whatever you complain about (that damn episode 3 which I don't care about), you can't deny what they did there is really the best gaming xperience ever.

He told us the episodic will be out every 6 mounts so i waited 2 years for episode 1 (lame, extreamley short and nothing really new in the game but good story). after that i waited one year and a half for episode 2 (good invest in Orange Box but the game had the same problems nothing really new good update to the engine source but to short!!!) @megalodonNL I wasn't really strategic when it came to Half life. As soon as I got a crowbar in Half life 1, I hit in everything in sight, including scientists and guards. I rushed through the game, and in the end, I had fun. I hope you had fun with your "strategy aspect" some people enjoy playing like that. I guess you are just another one of those people.

When I mentioned the 'strategy' aspect, I meant Left4Dead, because when a horde comes at you, it certainly makes things easier when you know where to stand and when & where to shoot tactically. And I found the atmosphere pretty good for a zombie game.
