The video you post is good, but I am using NetBeans IDE 7.0.1. so i am not able to create connection could you post " in the video you said if it give us an error message, you said we have to write something could you posted what you mean by witting. thanks

Thanks a lot! But, I'm using Netbeans 7.1. Since, the Java Desktop Application feature is dropped from Netbeans 7.1, I'm unable to develop the application you have shown on the video. Can you suggest an alternative? Would you kindly prepare a video using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express R2 database instead of MS Access or Embedded Database for performing same tasks as in this video?

hello, the app you explained above in the video is for one table, but i have a similar app to create but with 3 tables that i should have a separate form for each tables....

@creativituts when i tried to right click the java DB it gives me this output

i made a database with some data in it.

Before seeing your tutorial i could see the existing data on my tables when i was running the application...

I love your tutorial and i want to use an embedded db. After running the application i have the same result but my existing data isn't there and tables are empty... How can i insert my data so when i run it, i can see them?

as i try to create a new database from java dv, it shows an error msg... says-"Thread[main,5,main] java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files (x86)\glassfish-3.1\javadb\dat­abase\derby.log (Access is denied)"

can anyone help..

@sakivreyam That's because you have to select the folder in which the JavaDB source is. the one that you have here is under glassfish-3.1, so you have to change that location to something like: C:\Program Files(x86)\Sun\JavaDB.  The same happened to me! the program is just looking for the database in the wrong folder.

Friend your tutorial is really amazing but when I click on "Java DB" the only option activated is "Properties".... Start server, create database etc are disabled =( Im from Mexico and I saw a tutorial in spanish and the same problem... Please help me with that =) I'd really appreciate it
