Oh, please. This footage was obviously shot from an Essex class carrier; a Hellcat is even on its deck. It could not have been filmed from the Enterprise, let alone in 1942. Most of the rest of the footage (exciting enough itself!) appears to actually be from the described battle. They don't need to jazz it up with other footage and the lie to us about its provenance. I'm so embarassed for these guys.
