theres a torque bow and a longshot it the carriage, when facing the doors do a 180 and run past dom, grab the ammo crate and wait a few seconds and it will appear again, but after all this i ran in with the lancer fully loaded, skip the sequence and run straight down the RHS, get behind the second square, just unload in his face, get active reloads everytime and he will go down before he raches you and dom wont die

Just requestin something here for those who still cant beat it on coop. If you get one person with a boomshot and another with a torque bow this is rediculously easy. All you have to do is hit the kryll with the boom, then headshot with the torque. My brother and I did this in about 3 tries and weonly died cuz i kept missing (FAIL). But when i finally got it right he died before ever reaching the pipes. Myrrah was a walk in the park compare to RAAM though.

Well guys believe it or not i actually beat him with only a longshot (sniper rifle) and a few well thrown grenades on hardcore difficulty. No it wasnt co-op or anything either. What i did was just run around him or opposite side of him, avoid the kryll by staying in the light, and using most if not all headshots. He's actually not that hard, i was suprised when people said they couldnt even beat him on casual : /

It took over 10 tries on casual, but only 3 for hardcore..he seemed easier on hardcore for some reason, but I can help anybody else if need be!..

AHAHAAhhhh.... Just watched video, on this difficulty you actually have time to tension the bow while ADSing???? Try insane, you have to blindfire the torque bow or tension it while in cover and you also have to quickscope with the longshot.... then you have to jump and run while raam is reloading... thats if he hasnt sent the krill after you or the krill arent swarming.......

TL;DR 1.5 seconds of exposure = death.

The only thing that makes RAAM hard on insane difficulty is the bullshit dodge and roll. You jump the barricade when he reaches you, try to sprint to the other end, some gay-bitch roll script overides your keystroke, puts you in the cover of one of the blocks and traps you there for the half a second it takes SPAAM to kill you.

Epic games failed with GoW, FPS/3PS are about skill, not flip, dodge, show-pony bullcrap.

When I first fought Raam, it took me forever to beat him b/c i didn't know what to do. But ever since then, i just use my torque bow then throw all my grenades, and if i have to i will use my lancer and it kills him very quickly.

@eckoguy72 Take both the Boomshot with 10 rounds and the sniper rifle with 27 rounds when fighting Raam. I wait till he comes in halfway from his current starting position and then use the Boomshot and this will cause the krill shield to disband for a moment and then quickly switch to the sniper rifle and aim for his head. Everytime you score a good hit he will bleed and make a sound confirming he has taken damage. With the Boomshot you don't have to be on target just hit him.
