I am Mexican American and never supported Obama or McCain, because they are both pro-war liberals and socialists. The U.S. borrows money from China and spends billions in tax dollars to invade and brutally occupy sovereign nations in the middle east, forcing them to accept Democracy as a form of government. It's time to take care of America first, spend that money to create new jobs and heal our economy.
Let's see-- McBush was the one who waltzed thru Baghdad with no less than a full company of Marines as security, then glibly told the media that it was "safe for anyone" to walk thru... he stated it was "common knowledge" that (Shia) Iran was training (Sunni) Al Quaeda extremists... and he compares occupying that hostile Muslim territory "for 100 years if necessary" with the invited, collateral cold war defense of Japan, Korea, and NATO Europe.... and he says OBAMA's not ready to lead????
It's as simple as looking at the records of McCain's policy advisors... upon doing 15 minutes of backgroud checking I am horrified by the portfolio os his advisory team! These are the same people who are responsible for the USA's public wars (Iraq) and private wars (all of South America and Africa). His advisors are responsible for the US foreign policy of the past 30 years, so don't expect any changes, only different packaging.
McCain has no real foreign policy experience. Sure, he fought in Vietnam when he was in his 30s and 40s, but that doesn't matter today. Besides, how does having been in a war make you qualified to represent your nation in ALL foreign affairs?? Sure, you might be able to conduct a better war strategy, but you won't know jack shit about diplomacy or negotiations and whatnot.
Just a little thing for you. The United States does NOT, repeat NOT negotiate with terrorists. Sure let's have Obama's pussy way-hand our country over in a plastic bag that says peace, don't do anything to us.
Obama has said he would have UNCONDITIONAL talks with Venezuela, Raul Castro of Cuba, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and Syria!! What is wrong with that man?!
YOU DON'T NEGOTIATE WITH COUNTRIES THAT SUPPORT TERRORISM OR ARE TERRORISTS THAT KILL OUR SOLDIERS!!!
What does Obama have over McCain in foreign experience? he hasnt been to Iraq since 2006(presurge) obama has been in the senate since 2004 two years of which have been running for president, McCain has been a senator since 1987. McCain was offered an Admiralship but turned it down. I think obama is better at campaigning and really good with scripted speaches, talking about change, but thats all it seems to be, talk. Elected to the senate for change, YET he is running for president instead
What a bunch of bs. McCain won't even employ half of what he talks about in this speech except more war, a bigger military-industrial complex, more military spending, and 100 years in Iraq. He's not gonna give us real diplomacy or work with the rest of the world. He's just like Bush. This is the guy who actually admitted there are gonna be other wars, no doubt about it.
The liberals always base their policies on popularity, not the public good, because they are for sale to the highest paying special interest group no matter how low they have to stoop to pick up the cash. Polls should not determine public policy. Morality and the good of the nation should determine public policy.
Pardon me, but we do not live in a society governed by an arbiter. We live in a society governed by men ruled by public opinion. If that's the shits for you, well, to take a play from the conservatives' book, get the hell out.
Moreover: if realpolitik were the guiding principle for American foreign policy, I hardly think that the War on Terror would be conducted in even the remotest sense today.
As far as "morality": Shut the Living Fuck Up you Pompous Goon.
Does he honestly think the so called terrorists hate America for no reason? They have damn good reasons.
Also, Reagan was a terrible president. He and Bush Sr. were responsible for 3/4 of US debt when Bush Sr. left office. Why would anyone consider Reagan a conservative?
Also, did he actually just say international anti-Americanism is mindless? What a douche.
As well, so what he was in the military. That doesn't automatically make him qualified to run it. That's like saying someone who flipped burgers at McDonalds could be the CEO.
More active military personel supported Ron Paul's campaign than any other candidate.
This is such an easy accusation, it doesn't mean anything.
I've been called a bigot, a neo-con and a zionist, but it just attracts the attention away from that fact that you CAN'T DEBATE THE ISSUES, 54saratoga. Go home, read a book.
McCain is absolutely right. People on youtube are just the idiotic vocal minority. The vast majority of Americans support John McCain! He is the most realistic, most reasonable, tough motherfucker that this country needs!
John McCain was born, to his state-connected parents, in the Panama Canal Zone. The Zone, the product of US imperialism under the crazed Teddy Roosevelt, was never officially US territory. That is, McCain was born in a foreign country, and therefore not eligible to be president, according to the Constitution.
The United States recognizes all U.S. military bases as U.S. sovereign teritory. If he was born on a military establishment than he was born in the U.S.
Hi, England! You are so right. I can't believe people are voting for this guy. But I guess if he wasn't around some people would feel they had no one else to elect except, maybe, Charles Manson.
McCain is scary. Don't fall for the fact that he was in war. If you think things have got bad under Bush, you will want him back after McCain. McCain will unleash a living hell for Americans...and foreigners alike. All under the guise of security. If you get him, you will have no sympathy from me. (From England)
Hey in case eveyone doesnt know.... the reason why he cant raise his hand above his head is cause of what the Vietnamese did to him in Vietnam........they put a stell bar on his back with his elbows and dropped him like hanging him..... if anyone should be in charge iof the us military it i someone who has been been there!!!
John "Manchurian Candidate" McCain is one scary vendictive jerk. He acts like he got implanted with something when he was in Vietnam to take the US down even farther than Junior Brush has already done by bankrupting this country morally and financially.
Romney knows the business world -- the world that provides jobs and money for the working people of this country. Washington is a mess. Only someone who will veto the crazy 'tax and spend' Congress can turn this country around
McCain has no sense of history, proportion, and reality. he's also a corrupt fascist in the pocket of big business. A McCain in the White House would be a complete disaster; wars all over the world, which we will loose just, like Iraq
(ps: we lost the cold war. Afghanistan and the Russian People killed the USSR)
I wonder, how Senator McCain would stop anti-american sentiments overseas - especially in western europe ? How can France be converted to "americanism" ?
While I do sense an attraction towards the american way of life within the youth - adults tend to oppose it. Why ? Has senator McCain an idea, how to change that - maybe it would convince all asian cultures as well.
He does not have an idea who are these extremists and how to deal with them. He is another puppet who will create more terrorists and kill our rights. this is sooo screwed.. American people are hi jacket by MEDIA and candidates like this idiot above!
If anyone listened to the debate the other night, John Mccain agrees with President Bush an appraises him. If John is elected, many, many more will continue to die, and America will suffer greater burdens. McCain is not the man for this job. It is time for change, Obama is the man!
Nazi Germany was backed by prescot bush, or whatever he was called, and NEEDED because of a economic collapse due to the reparation payments germany had to do, according to the contract of versailles. That contract origined out of WWI.
How do you prevent wars? Yes, with such foul, brutal things like pacifism which Paul actively proposes. Conclusion: "Isolationism"=less fashism=no nazi germany=McCain's WRONG!!!
Republicans told me to leave the country because I was 'unpatriotic'; I now say that they were wrong and they were the ones unpatriotic to our American ethics and ideals of old.
The modern republicans are aggressive, prejudice, greedy, and imperialistic. They are the ones who were unpatriotic and had no right to call me and my friends unpatriotic merely because we RIGHTFULLY opposed a war and a president which have both now proven themselves mistakes!
I don't know what you mean. Nazi Germany came about due to horrific sanctions placed on a country that was caught up in agreements with other nations in WWI and was declared war upon. US policy and/or 'Isolationism' was not the intial problem that resulted in Nazi Germany. You give the US credit for WAY too much. We aren't responsible for everything.
But it could be stated, that there has been "noninterventionalism" in the US after 1918. The US did not ratify "versailles" and denied support for the "League of Nations" - but one generation later, american citizens had to fight in overseas again. Also british "appeasement" couldn't spare the lifes of british citizens.
So I would conclude, global trade and demands somekind of global organisation - and an active participation.
Well... I'm a Dr. Ron Paul supporter! I would say he has an EXCELLENT chance as long as people like McCain and the Ghoul keep talking LIKE THIS!! ugh..
This man reasons like he is playing a boardgame: he is talking like a complexed teenager. Can't believe... please US citizens don't buy these fake ideas. Your country has other problems, you have to understand that a multi-polar world is what we are all facing to. If the 'clash' of civilizations will turn into 'respect' of civilizations, we can live in freedom.
If this guy or Giuliani win the elections say goodbye to our freedoms and liberties, if you want your freedoms and liberties back that have been taken from past presidents vote for RON PAUL!!!!
Or if you happen to be a policeman who had a building fall on them and you got your body shipped overseas... or if you happen to be a fireman, or other employee. Youtube how he treated peaceful discent from bus drivers.
What way of life? Freedom?! The terrorists only managed to accomplish "their" goals thanks to the white house having congress pass an act that was written waaay before 9/11 and which they had know knowledge about its contents of.

Mindless anti-americanism? My anti-americanism isnt mindless. Actually I spend a lot of mind on my anti-americanism. :)
Kidding aside. McCain allways talks about what he wants the world to look like. But he never talks about how he will make the world become that way.
Thats like the beauty queen: "I want peace for the whole world!"
Fine, but how... thats the question, moron.

I love and respect John McCain. But, he still supports Bush and Cheney. Please see below.
I did mot make this up.
It happened last weekend, when ABC interviewed Dick Cheney.
Quote:
ABC: Regarding American lives lost "2/3 of the american people think the war is not worth it"
Dick Cheney: "SO?"
I am not kidding...thats what he said.
