  • Very cool, get someone to throw it at a concrete wall as hard as they can at -40 F. Or do what another mag company did. Bash it with a sledge hammer and shoot it with a 12ga

  • L5 follower tilts more than vietnam era mags and you can't even fix that coz L5 does not accept any aftermarket anti-tilt followrs.

L5's are bottom of the pile mags for me. Fix the follower and mag is almost par with PMag (though PMAG ranger floorplate option still beats L5 in some areas)

  • Don't worry, Lancer is working on a anti tilt follower.

  • sweet, thanks thanks for info. IMO that would put L5 into top 3 of AR mags. Also SIG550 / HK G36 style linking of mags would be great too, but as a separate model as that is not always desirable feature, that would make the mags incompatible with most existing AR mag pouches (though G36 pouches might fit nicely )

  • Why is a no tilt follower needed.

I bet you can't even tell me what malfunction might be caused by follower tilt.

  • I can, a forward tilt malfunction or failure to feed. This can cause the bolt from going into full battery.

    :)

However I have yet to hear anyone have that problem with the l5's :/

  • Great testing video of the best non-metal AR Mag. in the world.

  • That would be the P Mag. The L5 uses steel in the feed lips.
