AWESOME to find this here on youtube! LMAO-I remember back in '75,..I was like 9 and my Mom wouldnt let me see this, BUT I did hear her and my aunts screaming downstairs as they watched it!
Now this is classic!!! They don't make them like this anymore, I know most nowadays kids think this is dumb and not scary, but it was scary for us kids in seventies and eighties when it was on re-run on late night scary movie night. Late night t.v. then was the greatest, you always knew they would play a good ol'horror movie, without question. This was one of the best, including "Something Evil", and "Don't Go To Sleep". Great late night t.v. for you to get a bit scared.
Man was this so much fun the first time I watched it when I was a kid in the eighties on one of it's many re-runs in late night t.v. Late night t.v. was way better then. You knew for sure there was going to a good horror movie on, without question. And this was one of them. There I was with my mom, eight brothers and sisters, with me included. I was terrified. My mom was like "I'm going to turn it off" and us. NO NO NO NO, okay fine then stop covering your eyes and pinching me. LOL, fun times.
I've always found the ending [starting at 7:54 ] to be strangely exhilarating because Karen looks so cute, sexy, and seductive now that she's become evil. Still wearing that pink robe..Talking so tenderly on the phone while calmly holding all of that rage within, behind that beautiful smile. Heh.
Also Love the bit where she rips the bolt off her door with super strength. YES!
watched it again & again...karen black is my favourite, greatest talent...saved the whole movie, all 3 stories, on my playlist if anyone wants to watch (10 min blocks but runs in order so ok), worthy...might watch it again, hehe ;)
just watched the whole thing (the full three stories), AGAIN :D)))...saved on my playlist (10 min blocks but runs in order) if eva anyone wants to see the whole thing, so worthy...karen black is my one and only favourite, greatest talent eva :)
Lmao. This movie used to scare me horribly when I was a kid. Now.. I just find it hilariously funny. It's sill how it sometimes still gives me the chills.
I love the 4:00 mark when she's trying to get out the door and turns around and sees the knife cuttin through the suitcase. I'm rollin on the floor laughing now but as a 9 year old when I first watched it I almost peed on myself. lol

Didnt anyone else get angry about the doll hiding in the suitcase after she was stabbing it?

Much more tension-filled than the similiarly themed Stephen King story "Battleground" done for cable with William Hurt.
