what you say to stop ban - restore old firemware and reflash doesnt make a difference because XBL creates a log each time you play a burned game so no matter what they woll still get you only thing you can do is keep up to date with firmware.

Hey nick, this is a nice tutorial man. I used this video a while back and it worked perfectly. I just recently downloaded the new update on may 27 and lost everything. I still have all of the files on my cpu from the first time. I have heard that I can reflash using my previous key. Where would I find that keyu within those files and do you know if its possible or not. Thanks for your help dude!

@explosiveevan you (as far as I know and have tried) can not get console banned from playing burned or retail (green case) games as long as the ones that are burned are correctly stealth patched.

you can however be banned for just having a flashed drive and updating your xbox weather its a dash update or a game update

to not be banned you have to not accept the update and restore your drive to its original firmware then you update and flash it again after

@explosiveevan lol ya it is but i think its worth it b/c updates dnt come around that often and you could do that but you would have to get your original drives firmware and drive key then you would have to flash the other drive of the same type with the originals key and hacked fw

and you do not want to play a game b4 it comes out b/c if you do it will say so on your profile and you will probably get banned

@jaejinlover yep just remember that if a dash or game update comes around you need to disconnect from live, restore the drives original firmware (easy), then re connect, update, and re flash

@kikyouthekillermiko sadly if you have a benq drive you need a via sata controller card (ill PM u a link) for a pc to recognize it and you will have to use a desktop pc to do this flash but I have flashed benqs a few times so i know how to set up your pc to have it ready to flash so if you decide to go through with the flash PM me and ill let ya know what to do

@kikyouthekillermiko a ground wire is ment to channel extra electricity to ground so it wont overload the system you need it because the xbox dosn' have the same type of ground as your pc so if there is a surge from your pc into the drive the electricity will break the drive without the ground wire (a ground wire can be made out of anything conductible for example i used a metal coat hanger and you can just make is so the metal case of the xbox and pc are touching that will work too

@halo4lyf33 make sure that you plugged the drive into port 1 on your motherboard if its already taken turn off your pc first and move the one thats plugged into it into another open one and plug ur drive into it, if it is in port 1 try a different port if this doesn't work let me know

Ok, so I followed this to a T, and got it flashed! yay! However, I downloaded Halo Reach from a certain pirate bay torrent site...just to make sure that it was working correctly (typed 'halo reach 360 in the search on that site). I used OSX360 for Mac to burn the game. It completed the burn, but when I loaded it into the 360 it said, "Play DVD" instead of "Play Game." Any ideas? Should I try burning it from ImgBurn on PC instead? Or is it something else?

@ddietz11 you should have a .iso and a .img file after the stealth patch just burn the .img file onto a dvd DL disk and you should be good to go (make sure to set up imgburn properly before you burn it [see the vid for details i mean like the layer break options])

@melojordan55 um yes and your xbox wont be able to use that dvd drive unless you spoof the new drive into thinking its the old type which would be a waste of time if your old drive worked because the only way to get the information needed would let you flash the old drive so you need to keep the old drive in and find a tutorial on that

@h2dude69 np and yea you can but you will still have to stealth patch the games because the hacked firmware is designed not to get you baned so it wont boot games that have not been stealthed

and like i said if you unflash your drive and update the dash then re flash your good to play online too but you can never update with a flashed drive

If you have a different motherboard and a different DVD drive, will this make them work together? They are not from the same console, they were bought as seperate parts.

@LightningFireFilms no you would need the original drive firmware that was matched with the drive so if you have that then you have to spoof the new drive into thinking its the old drive then it will work (i have never done that b4 but i no that you can do it its included with the program)
