@billnseattle for the car mount I use an old mini DV Canon camcorder. For everything else I film, I use the Canon HV20 for HDV.

What I remember about this particular trail , I think this one remember I was only 10 lol , but a sign that says "Top Of The World" is this the place ??

Not sure about that...OH! You may be thinking about Red Mountain PASS, not Red Mountain Mining District. Red Mountain Pass might have had that sign..it's just up the road from this trail. The start of Black Bear Road begins at the summit of Red Mtn. Pass.

September it was amazing. We were on it after a short rain shower, and got a picture of a double rainbow over one of the mines. Thank you so much for the videos you post. Maybe one of these days I will get the videos we did posted.

I live in the springs too. It's 5.5 hrs to Ouray and worth the trip!
