In case if nobody has helped you... yes, if you save it to your desktop then you can't miss it. Some people put downloads deep in their Explorer folders then can't find them. So that you don't clutter your desktop, create a folder onto your desktop & put your downloaded videos in there

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can impose text subtitles onto the video with Windows Movie Maker? I use Power Director
