As for Balamb garden, i just recorded it outside near the natural waterfall.

My guitar was directly plugged into an mini amp, then recorded by an ordinary videocam... that's all i did and nothing else... lol

try getting a decent audio interface -- they cost a pretty penny but you get what you pay for; if you wanna do audio and video take the video from a webcam/camcorder and the audio from the interface (i suggest putting money into a decent recording program too)

After trying a webcam and a decent mic, now i am using a SANYO Xacti, about $200, without any interface or recording program. it's very easy to hundle, record and upload all at once. You can be another "YouTube Star Musician" by making full use of Xacti... haha... i am not a sales person though xD i wish that SANYO would become my sponsor ^-^
