That was great but goes so fast! Was that an autograph from Pres. Ford? What a wonderful thing to do for kids. I wish more people cared like that now. Our mother was a long ago Girl Scout troop leader, They once had a 3 mile hike in a big local park. One of the moms showed up in high heels. Glad you had the boys!!
I had so many good memories of my time as scoutmaster. There will be a reunion next Saturday, 2/4/2012 for those who can make it. And their wives and children????
My son was in BSA and he loved it so did I. I was active in many of the events and went to many of the camp outs too. I shared being event & camp nurse many times. The one event I remember and enjoyed the most was the Mother Son weekend camp out at Cherry Valley BSA Camp on Catalina Island, California. Have some great memories with my son.
