It is true that the intense stinging is not as bad after the first time, and the stuff will definitely clear out whatever is in your nose. HOWEVER it feels only 40% effective, because while it clears out mucus, it doesn't do anything (for me) about the swollen nasal passages, which is most of what a stuffy nose is. NEVERTHELESS 40% is better than 0% and I will continue to use the stuff.
I have been down this road before and when I heard about Sinus buster thought I had hit the lottery, I hadn't. Flonase/etc won't work either unless you are not truly suffering from rebound constriction and instead are suffering from allergies. Cold Turkey, and weaning are the only real options. You must reduce the amount of blood in the tissue to open the airway. If you choose to cold turkey a trick is HEAVY LIFTING/RUNNING. The blood rushes out of the nose for a short time (use before bed!).
I am so sick of afrin, or any other nose spray. It's been four years for me now. I cannot get off it. I hate when people say only use one nostril at a time. That's what make it worse for me. I'd rather have it fully congested, rather than one nostril. Ugh it's time I go to the doctors.
Yeah I been using my afrin for about a week and I've been over my cold for a while now but I still can't breath because I think I got addicted. Before I turn into a 20 year case like that lady I'm gonna get sinus buster.
Oh I just started using saline instead of the affrin. I think a netipot can work too, it's not gonna be ass affective as the afrin right away but its better than cold turkey at least. Its gonna be still a little stuffy at first but you'll come around.
@blacklite911 careful when using netipots, USE DISTILLED WATER from the store. someone died because amoeba from the tap water went up to their brain. google it up
Agreed with conman2317. Works temporarily, 15-30 mins. Then I have to use it again. Not a very good solution for long term use. Each time I use it, I have to blow my nose several times to remove excess discharge caused by the pepper.
this works, but not for long unfortunately...... may be like 30 minutes. I think it might be more of a placebo effect then an actual medicinal effect. Thats just my two sense, got to be a little skeptical about things. Nothing cures nasal or headache problems, you can only relieve the symptoms... NOT CURE THEM!
has linked pepper spray directly to 27 deaths in that state alone in 1990. People with preexisting conditions such as heart problems or asma can be susceptible to life threatening side effects from pepper spray (even mild forms). I would give a reference but youtube doesn't allow you to post them.

after breaking an afrin addiction many years ago, i have somehow again become addicted. it's miserable and i hope sinus buster will do the trick.
Mr Perry, what is your experience with people who have used your product to get off Afrin? Is it possible? Do you have any advice or instructions?
Thanks

@conman2317 if it is in fact the placebo effect than thats great. Means that I'm taking a harmless product AND my nose is working.
blacklite911 2 years ago
@blacklite911 nope just because something does not have a real medicinal effect, doesn't mean its not harmful.
It's like saying that because anthrax doesn't actually do anything for my headaches, its just placebo, therefore its not harmful.
conman2317 2 years ago
@conman2317 Whats this products harmful side effect again, I haven't heard anything yet so I'm gonna call moot point on that one.
