  • Wht not a single video camera view???

  • WOW 225? In a luxury sedan?

  • @G0Far yes lol....its sick

  • you are awesome Mr.Toth

  • As a filmmaker as well as Jaguar enthusiast, I thought your short was brilliant. Great cinematography, pacing, color and music bed.The launch theme subtely underscored the progressive nature of Jag. It visually and auditorally articulated the excitment of driving a machine of that calibre. I only have the XF and enjoy that but really dig it when I drive the XK. I'm waiting delivery on my XKF-5. Why? 'Cause you sold me. Isn't that what its ultimately about?!

  • @chayra01 no its just over produced crap. I hate it. Its just like the shaky cam shit they got on STG-U. Its unwatchable.

Just gives people motion sickness. This is a far better example of what they should of done: watch?v=plxNfU-PA2c

  • since you guys dont know anything it won the award for fastest sedan in the world on that track. which means yes they did get up to 225

  • Must be a competitor of the Bentley Continental GTC, that used to run around the ice in a high speed record.

  • vahahaah Brabus Rocket have 700 HP and m5 G power 800 HP and they are near to 370 KMH and this god damn car have 500 HP and is very close to 370...

    can u imagine?????

  • Funny thing - Put this engine in my lawn mower - it rips!

Fucking love that shit! Jaguar rules

  • why didn't they just use a XJ220 and mod the engine?

  • some dramatic camera work.

  • Even the 600+ HP G-Power M5 can't match the speed of this car. Jag rules.

  • @LukeNAESA10 stop talking about stuff you know nothing about.

the g-power M5 has up to 800 bhp and even the old one with 750 bhp did 367,4 km/h in early 2010.

    the 800 bhp one did 372 km/h.

  • @Verliebt This did 225 with 510, can't imagine what it would do with 800 HP.

  • @LukeNAESA10 i doubt any normal car can do 225 mph with 510 bhp. it's not much lighter than an E60 M5 which has 507 hp, and that can do unlimited about 204 mph.

21 more mph with only 3 extra horses is very hard to believe.

  • @Verliebt It's all about engineering, if the XFR did 225 mph, then it did. It's a much nicer, better looking car anyway. BMW still resides that square shape, like from the 90's. Typical interior, 100 shades of black, no exterior colours apart from most likely black and silver.

  • @LukeNAESA10 i am not saying that it didnt do that speed, even though they dont show the speedometer, what i am saying is that if it actually reached that speed, it was probably tuned, not stock, as you would suggest.

bmws can be bought in a multitude of colors, even for the interiour, but you clearly as i said in my first comment talk about things you dont know. you clearly prefer the XFR and consider it to be the best and dont care to look at what other cars can do or have to offer.

  • yah this car doesnt go that fast?

  • 225MPH fucking turtle

  • It's all marketing bullshit.

  • Arrghh, whats this song?! I know its by Oasis!

  • @OmGHiPPoS shock of the lightning

  • i just got a epileptic seizure for trying to spot the car

  • was this done with a v8?

  • well is that like the stock car it self or has it had upgrades cuz i dont think it could go that fast without upgrades

  • @masterdrummer19 IIRC:- de-catted, custom racing exhaust, modified ECU and modified supercharger. All engine internals including gearbox and clutch factory standard.

without the rear wing it would have been quicker but riskier.

  • Jaguar is probably the only company that can make absolutely stunning concept cars and never bother to put them in production.

  • amazing !!

  • Thank you for a blur of nothingness. Pity we couldn't have seen something worth watching.

  • Crikey!! that is pretty fast!

  • Jaguar stoped being Jaguar when ford began to put american v8's in them. a real jaguar either has a 6 cylinder or a v12.

  • @Mastermind12358 Jags stopped being jags when they became more dependable and stopped looking so ugly lol

  • @writofassistance

the e-type is considerd to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time, but you've got no taste so you wouldn't know what i be talking about.

  • @Mastermind12358 ok so one of their oldies was nice looking. but look at their middle years they were trying to recapture that magic but just end up looking like a mix between a Mercedes Benz and a 60s car with no corners.

  • @writofassistance

    hmm.. no

  • East Indian Company

  • Holly shit now everyone all of a sudden has a major in car companies origins, shut uuuuupp!!

  • who edits this shit, so bloody annoying...

  • Jaguar is a cut above the rest and never fails to turn my head in the street. Its got the WOW factor!

  • Nice

  • at first i thought it was on BONERVILLE

  • STOP FUCKING WITH THE CAM and let me watch the car damnit

  • Lotus are owned by a Malaysian, but are still a British company, all the cars are made in their factory in my village!

  • @supertecnoboff not much slower !?! the bugatti veyron super sport can go 267 mph that's a difference of 40mph

  • WOW 225.675 MPH!!! Thats amazing! Just think about it, that not that much slower than a Bugatti Veyron and it has less than half the horsepower!

  • @supertecnoboff true but it becomes exponentially more difficult to go faster when you reach that type of spped. That's why it takes 1000hp to to 260 but it takes less than 500hp to do 130.

  • I've watched this video almost 200 times,, Awesome. It just makes me what to go and take a joy ride.. Sweet..

  • why they are testing top speed in salt? it should be tested on a straight road.

  • @Willowman100 To run on the Bonneville salt flats is the true test of speed. The conditions vary so it's not always the same track. It's not like a controlled experiment which some auto makers choose to run Like Bugatti. Two runs in opposing directions and the average of the two gives your overall speed. Yes you can get higher speeds on asphalt but you will never find a straight roadway long enough to maintain such high speeds safely. The salt also adds to the complexity of the run.

  • i just wish some footballer doesnt buy it. because that means that this car will be ruined

  • 225 mph on salt?

  • Unbelievable! That has got to be the fastest (if not, one of the fastest) 4 door production car in the world.

  • My uncle has a XF :D

  • Damn, Jaguar really stepped up their game

  • the fastest car jaguar have ever made and it puts wales on the map why because the engine is welsh.

  • I think they just did this because it would look cool to see the snow trailing off the back. which is did

  • I will always love Jags and Astons along with Lambos.. Those are my top 3 car companies. And i love my lambo murcielago lp670-4 SV

  • @H8erkid Your car in Need For Speed on your game console doesn't count buddy

  • @H8erkid yeah and i love my Veyron

  • i didn't watch it hits 225MPH i've just seen the worst montage ever

  • 416 KMh for the stupids !!

  • @gancalojorgemelo you fucking idiot you can get your maths right

  • @tobazevedo93 sorry if I made a small mistake but you know why?

was trying to be American seen by resoltou

    but I'm European

PORTUGAL brother one of the most beautiful countries in europe

    rest your pussy bitch

  • 363.18 Kilometers per Hour Fuck meee!!!! thats wicked!!

  • pause at exactly @ 0.34 isn't that wicked !!!

  • a nice groupd of thiefs, dont wait anything from teh warranty except a run around,

type on google my last experience with jagaur france warranty

  • top speed in kmh? Jags sure fast ... somehow they also cool car

  • @HeroOfTheStar Nah it's MPH! See 1:18

  • i love jagss..

    my fav is xj220..

    song namee

  • @adokenk3nnbasil Oasis - The Shock of the Lightening

  • @adokenk3nnbasil Shock of Lightening - Oasis

  • salt flats necessary? not at all but it makes it seem astonishing... i guess...

  • when you need parts under constructor warranty ,they tells you they are not is stock and have you wait 45 days until you break the car a little more..they lied and if you react they put some fear against you,it is a pure robbery, jaguar france are thiefs,7 months and still the car is not fixed, have me wiat 3 months for parts.A warranty under their "echeances" what a shame, pass the word please!

the xj8 2007 facelift full of steering problems, steering rack and steering column.

  • no jaguar is owned by Tata now, an indian company. but yes it is stil British

  • Now, Jaguar is of Ford Company

  • Wasn't the engine bulit by the Welsh?

  • British jaguar hits 225 mph bravoooooooooooooooooo

  • It's not hard to reduce weight and add over the top aerodynamics to make a car go far faster than it's supposed to, but when the car can do this off the showroom floor, please let me know. I honestly find it a little disappointing that jaguar has the nerve to call this the fastest, when just glancing at the modifications done to this car, it's obvious that it wouldn't even come close in stock form.

  • Quicker than an XJ220, that's impressive.

  • Jaguar XF-R was designed by a Brit (Ian Callum), built by a British firm which had reaped the rewards of 18 years of US engineering, computing & financing. The car above was driven by an American pro racer - Paul Gentilozzi - using some pretty straight-forward race tuning and mods (new ECU, supercharger tweak, the obvious add of the spoiler, etc) on a US salt flat. The "only" thing India had to do with this video was to be home to Tata, who had enough foresight to know this car would rock.

  • I love the new Jaguars!

  • Jaguar was a piece of shit when Ford owned it. An Indian company bought Jaguar and now the world has a different view for the Jaguar Company. America is a great country, but full of piece of shit car companies.

  • @06tCdriver

What you are seeing now from Jaguar is the culmination of over 20 years of work and Ford money. Do you honestly think Tata came in and in one year produced a whole new lineup and turned quality around? Here is a hint it take years for a company to put a car on the road. The current Jags were all spawned when Jaguar was owned by Ford.

  • @BamFor07 You are absolutely right and I completely agree with you and that is why I still believe Ford is a piece of shit company. All those years of effort into creating some of the best looking cars of the century and you sell the company that is eventually going to make you profit because you are in a loss? If Ford was a smarter company, the first thing they would have done is sell their luxury brands Mercury and Lincoln, which are basically Ford cars with chrome stickers on them.

  • @06tCdriver

I agree but it was the raising of cash through the sale of companies like Jaguar, Land Rover etc that helped raise the cash to keep Ford out of chapter 11. Well, that and mortgaging everything they owned. Selling Jaguar sucked from the the prespective of waisted effort but staying out of bankruptcy isn't always a dumb move.

  • @06tCdriver

That and the fact Jaguar hasn't turned a profit since it was part of BMC even before British Leyland, thats something like 40 years.

  • @BamFor07 Yea that's true, but I they shouldn't have sold both Jaguar and Land Rover because these two companies are doing much better in their sales figures than ever before. I guess having something is better than having nothing at all.

  • @06tCdriver

Unfortunately, Jaguar and Land Rover are seen as a pair with neither one offering the full range of vehicles needed to compete today. It was a crappy spot for Ford, everybody, even they, knew down the road Jaguar would come back to life but they needed cash and they needed it right then. Too bad considering all the money that kept Jaguar alive since British Aerospace sold them off 20 years ago. But, without Ford there would be no Jaguar today.

  • I could have made my pontiac sunfire look likes it going 225 with that much editing

  • Should of tested it where the Bugatti was tested to hit its top speed

  • @jamestaggreen volkswagon wont let anyone test cars there unless its there own.

  • Thats really incredible.

  • They are owned by an Indian company, built in the U.K.. Worth every penny!

  • WOW, CAN A 2010 CTS-v SEDAN MATCH THIS? 225? jeesh;

  • Guys, if Chelsea is owned by a russian, does it become russian club? Jaguar will always be British, one of the best of British Engineering.

  • @poptate7 Ya right haha pice of shit cars .... BMW for life !!!

  • @poptate7 it does if there is little left of the british self it once was. Its better mind you.

  • @poptate7 Well, legally Jaguar is Indian, if Jaguar was sold to TATA, it is TATA's...

  • @MadDogMeh If Jaguar as a brand would have been rebranded altogether into Some other Indian brand , regardless of its manufacturing base or even management, then it would have been an Indian Brand. Here, the very reason Tata's bought a British brand (Jaguar) was to make themselves established on the global market. And Tatas are trying very had to retain Jaguar's Britishness. Which is the very reason they have kept the manufacutring unit in the UK and the top management as British. (contd..)

  • @MadDogMeh (contd from previous).. Hence the brand Jaguar and the car itself will always remain British, it was even when Ford owned it (It never got known as American) and it will be even tomorrow if any other international firm owns it.

  • @poptate7 actually abramovic is not russian he is jew...

and ofc jaguar will stay always british :)

  • @iliabashel

Nations are a thing of the past in todays business world. Oh, and Abramovic is russian first and foremost btw.

  • @Ilike2tubeittubeit

Well said mate. I dont mind Tatas taking over Jag or for that matter it associated with India or any other country. In fact Tatas have done wonders for Jag which had been under a mess under Ford. But then caling Jaguar Indian or American is not fair. The Brand has always been British and is manufactured in the UK. Tatas themselves have stated that Jag will remain a British brand and retain its true essence.

  • @iliabashel

My point was regardless of any foriegn involvement, Jaguar will always retain it British identity.

  • @poptate7 yes your point is cought :)

P.S. and anyone knows this song? is it Oasis?

  • @iliabashel

Thanks :) And it is The Shock of THe Lightening by Oasis, althought the original is so much better than this montage.

  • @poptate7 Same with Holden. Owned by Gm but Australian for life!!!

  • jaguar company is owned by ratan tata now.... Indian company now,,,

  • Thats the Same speed as the Fastest Aston Martin Ever, The One - 77 at 225mph and thats 1.2m to buy!

  • I dont think Jaguar is made in America tey were made in Coventry England it was best thing that came from Coventry. People from Coventry it was hard to say how proud you were when they were makeing cars those days. Jaguar had there good times like when they won 24 le mans in 1955. after that year jaguar stopped competing in the le mans but now jaguar is comeing back to le mans with the americans there keeping the car raceing pedigree alive

  • No, Jag has always been British. Created, engineered and built in Coventry (village of another gorgeous cat: Lady Godiva). Regardless of "ownership" Jag is distinctly English.

  • holy hell, that exhaust note @ 00:43 is bitchin'

  • That camera man, or the guy who edited all the footages is an idiot. A lot of fast panning, speed up, slo-mo, zoom in, zoom out. I can't really see what is going on (or conclude anything from what i see), it just gives me headache.

  • @dude2106

Some rookie in his basement thinking he can do what the "real pros" do so well, it comes down to "good" editing.

The eye must "pick up" where it "left off"in the previous scene or else you get a headache trying to "track in" on the action....unless it's sequential action - meaning out left/in right or vise versa.

Any good montage leads the eye and then hook it up in the next scene.

Now that I've given this kid a little schooling he might produce some better work..:) - V8.

  • The Americans allways claim everything!!!! Even in world war 2 the mustang was a useless flying crate untill someone put a British Rolls Royce Merlin engine in it!!!! Yanks can make them big, but the brits make them fast!!!!!

  • It was owned by ford at one time but has always been built in the UK...

  • Being from Coventry it was hard to say how proud you were when they were making the S-Type and X-Type (rebranded and rebodied Fords). The XF and has restored most of that now. Shame the rest of my city is a shithole though. We only have the Jag R and D site now. Keep up the good work Prodrive.

  • jaguar used to be amercian, they made em in detroit but not anymore.

  • @AkBoy1000 no, jag did not used to be american..... you idiot.

  • @Stones118118 mhm it was owned by ford just like austin martin

  • @AkBoy1000 you mean aston.....besides just cus a company owns it doesn't mean it's from the country of the parent company. Like chrysler is owned by fiat but it is definitely not italian.

  • @YouSoldMe No....lol Chrysler is still an american POS.........still no Chrysler cars I would by as of late.....I wish they would have dodge revive the shadow, but this time - do it right. give it a few options - awd, rear wheel, front wheel...something! ......and have a true convertible version...... unfortunately........they wont do it............because they undoubtedly suck.......

  • @AkBoy1000 jaguar have NEVER been made in detroit, the same way dodge were never made in germany!

  • @scarfaceJPD i never said they made em in detroit, i said they wer owned by ford

  • Based on shaky blurry camera footage and dramatic shots of the desert floor, I've come to the conclusion that the modifications done to the XFR is the use of 4 wheels, a shift knob, and a steering wheel inside for the driver.

  • Jaguar is a UK car company

  • haha its funny how people keep saying its american. >.<

  • @mobywill1 I know right. Just because Ford owned it once doesn't make it American.

  • @FredTS haha its now owned by tata so its sorta indian. But i still class it as english

  • SURELY NOT STOCK?!?! please someone reply

  • iv seen this car at silverstone last year. Parker up on the jag stand...very cool

  • i dont know many things about cars. what makes jaguar special?

  • i dont know many things about cars. what makes jaguar special?

  • iT USE TO BE AMERICAN

  • @zep0c0llie Jag was never American mate.

  • @FredTS Well owned by US stock holders. Before it was sold of to some indian group along with range rover in 2008.. If im not mistaken>?

  • @zep0c0llie And while it was american it sucked. i mean XJ220 fail (as much as I loved the XJ220). X type fail. S type fail (I loved the S-Type nonetheless, nearly bought one). But now that its on the winning team its got the XFR. XK, XF ect. Much better under "some indian group"

  • Ford actually owned Jaguar for a little bit.

  • @cs17894 True that but that doesn't make it American. It is owned by Tata now which is Indian but you wouldn't say it's Indian.

  • WOW!!!!!!! 225 on Salt!!! That's gotta be bloody terrifying!!! Nice car.... Shame it is now made in Egypt lol

  • That´s 362.1 km/h

  • Beautiful...

  • i'd rather buy a suzuki splash.... more efficient in fuel consumption...

  • @anjingkepala3

Worried about fuel consumption? Buy a diesal... or walk...

  • Damn, was looking forward to seeing some great video and all I got was a camerman's ego with ultra quick cuts and a headache. Is this the new trend? Ever watch (or try to ) an auto show with the zooming in/away, super close-ups . qick pans and the like. It seems the camera never remains on a particular subject long enough to allow my brain to focus. Oh well, love the car anyway.

  • @slightlyangst I fully agree. Guess it was filmed for the NON car guy. Oh well, still impressive speed.

  • TATA Group was founded in 1868 and now it has an annual revenue of 76.5billion and worth 58billion dollars. India and Britain have a long history together and we share some culture too. India is the second largest investor in Britian now. Either way we like the Brits for some reason dont ask why may be because they are a bit honest unlike Uncle ruin it all.

  • tata motors ha ha!!!

  • If it can go 225 mph in salt then immagine how fast it would go on pavement.

  • It is an absolutely superb looking car. Both this XFR and the normal very beautiful XF. Well done Jaguar and well done the true genius designer Ian Callum. He also designed the Aston Martin. I am a giant fan of the new Jaguar XF and of Jaguar in general. They have an incredibly great and interesting history.

  • too bad its ugly

  • how fast was the older, better looking XJ220.. 217mph?

  • "10-4, let me get your official speed: 2 2 5 point 6 7 5"

(cut out) holy virgin mary mother of jesus, LEMMEEE TRY THAT!!!!

  • what mods were done to this car. anyone know?

  • music?

  • @tugask8 music is Oasis British band come in tonight

  • @mrmulligan1268 thanks I know Oasis, did not knew the song

  • Same gear ratios yes, it ran the standard ZF 6 speed gear box, standard wheels and tyres, all they did was air intake, upgraded supercharged Pulley wheel, exhaust (no CATS) and a remap ECU.... oh and the rear wing to keep the back end down :o)

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • So does this car have the same gear ratios as the production XFR?

  • here comes the new cars from the United States of America. I love it! Hope to see the new jaguar XFR...

    -DAVID DELA PEÑA

  • You think Jaguar is American? AHAHAHAHAHAHAA

  • hahaa yea i found that funny also

  • Comment removed

  • @alxcsb Before it was just barely bought out by an Indian car company, Jaguar was owned by Ford which is as we all know, an American car company.

Whoever said that was probably just confused by it's past.

  • @alexrowland Jaguar, one of the most important BRITISH car makers, with a lot of history behind it, in racing and road cars that were very appreciated by the entire planet, is mistaken for an American maker? You really have to know nothing about the car industry to even say that. Even if it is owned by Indians or Americans, it will always be British.

  • @alxcsb All I'm saying is that I could **UNDERSTAND*** why someone might **MISTAKENLY THINK*** Jaguar has American roots, not that I personally think that. Ford owned them for TWENTY YEARS before just barely selling them off. Not everyone is a car buff and after two decades of ownership by a quintessentially American company, It doesn't seem so ridiculous that somebody might think they were an American company as well. Period. That's my only point. I can't explain this in any other way.

  • @alexrowland I understand your point, but we were not talking about a new British car maker that is on the market for 2 years, Jaguar has almost 90 years of history behind it. They invented BRITISH RACING GREEN. If we think about, we could call Bugatti, Rolls Royce and Mini German companies and TVR Russian. I think we can both agree that you keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you are talking about, like koenma15 should have done.

  • @alxcsb If I'm not mistaken Ford owned it for a few years right? Right now it's Indian with English origin. It's still British.

  • @alxcsb it´s fast, it´s beautiful, it works - that CAN NOT be an american car ^^
