@garciamofo98 the root explorer app? u must be clicking the wrong link. click the black with blue streak rectangle button that says download now on the left, then click slow download, wait 20 secs, then click download file now

Hey it me again.  The good news is I got the market to work but now when I go to the go launcher ex the market is not there. I restarted my fire after the install and followed the video exactly. I can access the android market by hitting menu/ go store or the app bin thing by it doesnt show up on the go launcher home.

if its not copying, then there is a problem with the read/write status, you guys should make sure your still rooted after the kindle fire updated a couple days ago because it broke root and you would need to re-root first. you can check if your rooted with the root check app (link for it can be found on my how to root & unroot kindle fire video description)

@nat3mil yea i got it working now u have to use root explorer worked fine. I got the market but when I try to log into my google account i get an error

@Negative2008 try rebooting, if it still errors out you might not have done it in the right order, or did not set the correct permissions. mount as read/write again delete the market app from system apps , reboot and try again following the video exactly.

@Negative2008 you have to mount as read/write again. it resets each time you exit the app. then you can delete it. no you must delete it and reboot first.

@tedburkholder if u use file expert I show u how to mount as read write in the video. U must do that before pasting.

If ur using root explorer, I explain how to mount as rw in the faqs section in the video description.

And i have a separate video for sideloading apps, that's why it wasn't explained in my rooting video. File expert might look different due to an update they pushed out, its the same procedure u just need to click SD card first from the main screen.

I have installed google framework successfully and then mounted as read write successfully copied com.amarket.apk went to system\app and hit paste and the bar showing the paste appeared and looked successful but I can't find the com.amarket.apk in my system\app locaiton.

@bobace5000 read the faqs I added a bit about how to use the root explorer app. Once u mount as read write u can continue following the video, just using the root explorer app instead.

@J4K3ST3RisH3R3 I don't have a EVO I could make a vid with. U could use my how to root thunderbolt video, as revolutionary does support EVO 4G so it would be the exact same process.

U should be able to update without a problem , u might lose root. I don't know for sure though , u could just unroot if u want to be safe, it only takes 10 mins to unroot and reroot

I'm not familiar with their method but in mine I did some of the work for u editing the driver and i streamlined it by having u extract the .android folder to the correct place already. I appreciate that u noticed the difference :)

@nelsonarashiro u can probably find the file expert apk on the internet then sideload the app. Go launcher is also included in the gapps package so u don't need the appstore for that . I have a video for sideloading apps if u need help with that . I could send u the file expert apk if u can't find it

@nat3mil Hi, sorry If this is a stupid question, but for people outside the US, its impossible to get the file manager from the Amazon Store, and so they can't sideload anything as all the guides on sideloading are easy as long as you do get that file manager first... Case 22 here I think, or is it?

@dalogrus ah yes, I understand. Heres what you can do I just tested it. Theres actually a build in apk installer, so you just need to locate the apk file on your kindle. Heres what you do.. download the apk from the kindle browser (4shared dot com works) then in the browser, click menu, downloads, u should see the apk file, press it and it will ask you to install. note u must have installation from unknown sources turned on first. please verify if it works for you
