Hegel never used the terms 'dialectic', 'synthesis', and used the term 'thesis' once (I think - in his 'Introduction to the Philosophy of History') and used the term 'anti-thesis' not at all (or once, depending upon your translation).

If you've got Darwinism, phenomenology and Marxism, you've got Hegel already - you just need to put it in the right order. The best way to do that is to read his 'Introduction' series, re-read (or read) the Communist Manifesto, then re-read the 'introduction's.

A negation is something in it's own way. Nothing can be seen in diffrent ways. This is one way. An other way is in math. Think of the number 0. Ask yourself, is zero something? Yes, zero is a number. But a number is something. So, does that mean zero is something? If I have zero cookies, is that something? If I walk for zero minutes, have I walked?

The qualities of beeing relies on the historic moment in wich we live in. Or you can say in the moment of the dialectic (positive-negative)

Know your philosophy before wanting to piss on Hegel. Dovlinhos was right to think about what Hegel means by movement (amended by PatMcHugh, of course). The same problem is set out in Plato's "Sophist". Why do you think Aristotle devotes so much attention to motion in the "Physics"? Would you say "areyoukiddinmelol" that Plato, Aristotle and Hegel are a gapping holes in philosophy? Perhaps you mean to say that they represent the whole of Philosophy.

I thought this was very well done. I would only differ from it by saying that for Hegel it is the conception of Pure Being which disolves into Nothingness. Being itself is that which contains both of these movements - the change that never changes as illustrated in this video. But that's just a small point. Again, very good job! Cheers!
