The game's graphics and Job system may be better than WoW's for us Final Fantasy fans, but in terms of background story and overall playing system, WoW is better. how does the leveling work in this game? is it similar to WOW like up to certain level? what about the fighting is it really slow? and the armor how come almost everybody looks the same with like cloth armor? in anybodys opinion is it better than wow or whats the deal? i bought the game and i havent had had the time to install it and just wanted someones opinon.
You can go up to level 75 ( 50+ you have to do a limit break every 5 levels ( which is pretty much a quest ) ) and Square-Enix doesn't really focus on flashy equipment like Blizzard. ( you can only really solo to level 10 then you have to start getting in groups to level up ( in other words grind with 5 more people ) i personally think it's better than WoW but everyone else will disagree x_x

You guys need to go and see what GRIND means in an MMO. WoW is NOT a Grind game. It's impossible to get to high levels by Grinding in WoW. You want to know what a Grind MMO is? Ragnarok Online is a Grind MMO. It has no Quests whatsoever, and the only way to level up is to move from area to area just killing everything to get EXP.

its called Kiting blackheart.. you have to run away so when he defeats carbuncle you have chance to summon it again before he gets ya. They pack a punch so its not wise to stand next to em and re summon... cause you will last all of 6 hits.. and when it hits ya, your summon interrupts

Add the fact that if you're coordinating on WoW sucks you can wipe en entire raid, add the fact lot's of bosses in the burning crusade have 1 shot raid killing moves, also add the fact 9 million people are playing an "easy" game.
If the game was that easy there would be a shit load more people inside of The Black Temple.

My main was SMN. You have to be SMN to do the solo fights and they are capped at lvl 20. My sub was /WHM or I wouldn't have been able to cast Paralyna.
Yeah, it was really luck that won me this fight :) But I think it could give hope to never give up there. You're there, so fight til your last, you can only win and if you lose you at least tried everything.
You were SO lucky at the end! Normally if you lose Carby while the Avatar is about... you die. (Good job!) It's a good video, so people who haven't done them yet can benefit from seeing someone actually do it :)

The price depends on the server you are on, but normally ethers are not THAT expensive, but still aren't really cheap.

1. DONT USE SEARING LIGHT ON THE FIRST TURN, SINCE YOUR PARALYZED
2. PARALYNA YOURSELF AS CARBUNCLE FIGHTS
3. RUN DOWN AND WAIT UNTILL HE DIES
4. RESUMMON, THEN USE IT

Yeah, it was really luck that won me this fight :) But I think it could give hope to never give up there. You're there, so fight til your last, you can only win and if you lose you at least tried everything.

You were SO lucky at the end! Normally if you lose Carby while the Avatar is about... you die. (Good job!) It's a good video, so people who haven't done them yet can benefit from seeing someone actually do it :)
