I learned about this video after reading Steven Wax's 'Kafka Comes to America,' which provides an examination of the case against Adel and other innocent people who were locked away without due process. Its a horror, and I hope it is not forgotten. You do not differentiate between apprehended and guilty.
Max, Habeas Corpus is for the protection of accused criminals suspected of crimes on US soil or in US jurisdiction. It does not protect illegal enemy combatants. I'm all in favor of letting the detainees go if you will take them in Holland.

I learned about this video after reading Steven Wax's 'Kafka Comes to America,' which provides an examination of the case against Adel and other innocent people who were locked away without due process. Its a horror, and I hope it is not forgotten. I'm not shocked by the lack of empathy for those that are wrongly imprisoned, but it is saddening that the history of mankind is consistently punctuated by these types of things.

Max, Habeas Corpus is for the protection of accused criminals suspected of crimes on US soil or in US jurisdiction. It does not protect illegal enemy combatants. I'm all in favor of letting the detainees go if you will take them in Holland.

Under Ayatollah Khomeini the killings and torture really kicked in with an estimated 30,000 deaths in just the first few years. 450K to 950k killed in the war against Iraq. Free press ended, women lost rights to work, Iran began to support terror. The Shah was far better for Iran & it's people.
