So you cant change tuning. If the tv is playing the sound the game can just pretend its drop d.

as far as harmonics go. the way the pickup seems to work you have to push the strings all the way down in order for it to be read.

The only reason ill be getting rocksmith instead is because im lefthanded not because i want to hate on new tech.

@TheKilldo yes it is possible u just need to buy an adapter midi pro adapter (on the store u buy the game)and just plugg in and play , but the one guituar in the video is a real one as well it works as a real guitar and think its the same weight on this one , ( there are 2 different guitars one plastic and one real one i think )

@mitsospower12 No. You have to get the official one from Fender. Reason being the guitar itself is what detects where your fingers are on the frets (you have to turn it on to get it to do so, it takes 3 AA batteries). Plus the way it hooks up into the system, it runs through a MIDI adapter and I know there are MIDI guitars out there but they are few and far between.
