Actually, I heard that Haruhi's voice actor got an award or something. Or it might just be the Japanese voice actor. Hmmm... I think if I heard the Japanese dub first, then the english, I would cringe in my seat from disgust. But I like the english so far.

Crispin Freeman does a pretty good job here. i like how he handled the ~Forever~ part, sounds almost like the japanese one.

I don't mind Kyon's voice... but Haruhi definitely sounds a bit odd. I wanna hear Yuki's voice, though! And Mikuru's.

Mmm, Wendee Lee sounds good. I'd listen to more than a few segments with his VA just out of curiosity.

But the females.... *sigh* I just don't like their voice acting, not that it's bad... Not my cup of tea, I guess.

Meh, it's OKAY, Haruhi doesn't work, her voice just isn't right. I can only imagine Chirstina Vee doing an english dub of haruhi XD the others are pretty good

The voice acting seems good. They got some really good and renown American voice actors and to me, they work. I think I'm one of the few anime fans that WILL give dubs a chance. XD

The only huge problem I had was "what's wrong with being human"

It should be "Why are you so particular about non-humans?"

and Haruhi's response should be "Isn't that more interesting?"

I liked Taniguchi's first response "Hey Kyon, What the HELL kind of Magic did you use on Haruhi?"

Honestly, I give them an "A" for effort, but the Japanese version is just so ingrained into my mind that this just feels like I'm watching Crispin Freeman and Wendee Lee recording a fandub over the original, not listening to an actual conversation between the characters.

Haruhi just doesn't work. Especially since her voice makes me think of her in Black Rose's costume. Which is scary, thanks to the sword. @_@

I understand that its good, but I'm so used to better dubs of games like Final Fantasy and MGS, oy. Why can't they just ask for help from veterans in American stuff, oy? It happened for Samuel L. Jackson in Afro Samurai. I wanna see one of the south park guys do some dub acting, oy. Yes, I know that they don't have a video game company budget, oy. But do they care THAT much about pay? I remember that H.C. Anderson tale The Emperor's Nightingale and its point it was trying to make, oy.
