  • Great, now we need a spitfire shooting paintballs to it.

  • Felicitaciones! Un excelente trabajo :-)

  • Should consider getting a white spinner and paint your own "spiral vertigo thingy"

  • That's fantastic. Well done on a superb build sir!

  • Ironically this version flies faster than the real Stuka's did...

  • A very slight bit of photoshop on the stills and we would be asking what theatre were they taken in the war. Very impressive model of one of my favourite plans of WW2.

  • you should get a whisle on the front to make it screach when it dives then it would be absolute perfection aside from that supurb work

  • an excellent build, well done. now if you could minaturise and add a siren for dive bombing then that would be perfection.

  • that's a very nice plane ,... i wonder if there's something to get anywhere that is like a scale built siren,... the real STUKAS had those attached besides the cockpit on the left I think,.... that's why they have that scary image "screaming out while preparing the nose drop bomb drops" ,.. anyways very cool !!!!

  • A work of art.

  • true craftsmenship that should be respected world wide, beautiful work and your patience and effort is staggering

  • beautifull landing !

  • kewl

  • beautiful, a masterful job.

  • First things first, I have always been interested in WWII aircraft, especially the Avro Lancaster bomber and the Ju-87 'Stuka' dive bomber. I was lucky to see a Lancaster fly past, at the Clacton-On-Sea air show few years ago, and again today, for the Royal Wedding Flypast here, in the UK, but I have never seen a Stuka fly. I wouldn't want to, unless in peacetime! Your aircraft is incredible, as is your craftsmanship and flying ability. Thanks for this brlliant video, and keep building!

  • that looks great ! How long did it take to build once you got your plans ?

  • Build pictures are good but would have been much better if it was a DVD Movie, Still good though.

  • could you put some sort of siren in the nose so it would make that tell tale wale when it dove?

  • Beautiful bird!!! Very well done!!! Good flyin' too!!!

  • Nice , But i hope to God you remember those devil nazis and what they did to the world . by the way

    since it,s a German plane why not a 3W eng >? I,m sure Gerhard would happy !

  • What did u cover your plane in?

  • WOW! Thats dangerous around 3:35 with that drop!!!

  • WOW !What a nice model ,full marks to the guy who built it .

  • ☆★ fantastic plane ★☆

  • ☆★ NICE PLANE ★☆

  • now can you ride in one of these giant rc controlled airplanes, i weigh 145 lbs, is it possible i can go fo ra spin in one of these ?? lol plz let me know

  • Beautiful build,

I built the Zirolli PT-17 but "cheated" and got the wood kit. If yours flies as well as the PT does it is a true pleasure to fly.

  • Great build! Really captures the rugged brutish appearance of the real thing. Very convincing weathering! Was is all airbrushed? It looks like its been to hell and back, just how I like warbirds to look! The blood in the back in the other vid is a bit grim!

  • Where'd you get that badass prop? The whole plane is pretty badass. I always liked the Stuka.

  • Did you ever consider a central bomb sling apparatus (whatever it's actually called) instead of the wing carried bombs? Just curious. Nice plane. 8-)

  • Absolutely gorgeous !

  • Nice choice of music!

  • Awesome !!! Comparing to the action figure pilot, is the Stuka in 1/6 th scale?

  • Cutest RC i have seen. This is far good, the only missing is you to figure out the wind syren that used when bomb diving...the engine sounds nice.

  • Beautiful model. Well built and well flown. The video would be greatly improved however if that annoying music were removed. I wanted to hear the engine sounds in different flight conditions.

  • sexy

  • Nice video but hey..chek my rc passion video.. it s the best on youtube...

  • Hermoso video, hermoso avion, hermoso el tema ! Muy bien diez ...

  • Very nice and gentle flying!

  • Great model and workmanship. Interesting to see the Close Ups. And the construction footages. Well done Video too.

  • Beautiful...The thrill can't be gone;)

  • Very nice bird. Well done. Who doesn't like the Stuka? Despite its' many faults it has that look. And, I think it took courage to fly these things back in the day. The pilots knew the deal, especially over the vast expanses of Russia. Their job wasn't easy.

  • Great looking bird!

  • Best scale takeoffs, landings and flight I have seen. Beautiful workmanship, finishing and flying!

  • i would like to try myhand at a model of the Fairey Gannet ha 5 AEW

  • one big model! were sould i start for plan building. i dont have any help or much experiance. just started. i've only got a .46 nitro trainer and a parkzone bf109E lol. anyone know?

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!!

  • shes a aswome plane, even thogh i hate the nazis XD

  • Grrrrreat Mein Herr! Nice one!

  • This is very excellent, homemade and realistic. Never seen a better RC airplane.

  • that runway looks like its about to shake the plane apart

  • man nice bird but that runway is way dodgy bet that dip half way down has claimed a few birds

  • I'm glad someone finally noticed! My friend wont stop raving about what a great field it is.....

...it's built on a land fill and although they keep adding dirt, it keeps sinking in areas.

  • @pahtreekM lol i dont think id fly sumthing with the time effort and love and blood that goes into a scratch build there just my foamy or wing dragon. Got to get me a stuka i luv em not to many kits/plans about tho ones there is are way above my paygrade and skill level as i type there is a 1/72 scale model dive bombing me from the ceiling got to try making one from foam if i can find sum its a bitch to find in uk

  • @pahtreekM our field in coventry(uk) was a land fill and we get dips and mounds all the time you cant keep up with it all

  • @damafia29

it's no runway. In german we say "Acker"

  • @damafia29 It's a scale runway for ww2 conditions ;-)

  • construction material i mean XD

  • how much did u buy the construction its beautiful and congratz...

  • absolutely awesome

  • oh I see it does drop replica bombs.

now you just need a more realistic pilot figure, an MG34 and a gunner figure to top it off.

  • very nice and intimidating

all other planes dont have this same look to them.

I only wish it could drop something. like a bag of gray powder so it bursts on impact.

  • grande maestro !! como te envidio !! muy buena la musica tambien !!

  • just beautyful

  • Congratulations, excellent model.

  • beautiful model, weathering looks great, get a siren on there and lets hear her squeel as she dives, these are available out there

  • C'est dommage que ce moteur massacre un excellent travail, un choix difficile à comprendre !

  • excellent work!

  • Nice job — looks like a lot of work. Did you ever find time to get laid somewhere in there?

  • This is what RC modeling is all about. Great work. First rate builder and flyer. Outstanding!!!

  • So what the hell does scratch built mean then? I always call anything built pretty much scratch. as in that it wasnt an arf and/ or came in a box and looked like a dam jigsaw puzzle or kindling.

  • scratch built meaans that he got scale diagrams and cut out his own balsa wood and putt it together

  • Beautiful

  • I wish I had money for one of those. I'd really like to have a B-17 the size of Mac Hodge's B-29. Great video

  • This is what model planes are all about!!

    Very nice looking plane.

  • Outstanding aircraft! You guys are extremely talented.

  • Hello Patric,

I'm building the same plane here in Holland. Where did you find the full pilot?

    Hans.

  • yeah i agree find or try to biuld a siren and YOU MADE THAT damn thats awesome

  • Please add a siren!!!

  • Wonderfully done! I also like the scale look, both close up and when flying. The engine seems to be right (scale) as well - those things where not pylon racers.

One odd thing, though: who the hell let an army general get behind the stick????

    ;-)

  • good scale look when flying, nice speed managment

  • Very nice model and very well flown my friend. I loved the roll. One thing though.

    "scratch built from Ziroli plans"

This seems to be a contradiction in terms.

Either it was scratch built OR built from someones plan. It can't be both.

In any case, thanks for posting.

  • You are correct. I guess in the age of arf's and kit cutters, many around here are using the term "scratch built" a bit loosely. We incorrectly say if you cut your own wood you scratch built it, but you are correct. It is not scratch built, but built from ziroli plans. Thanks for the correction. But I am "scratch building" a 1/3 scale curtis hawk p-6e! lol

  • @pahtreekM Do you buy the plans? if so where from?

  • @pahtreekM My understanding from 40 years of building model aircraft (oh god!) is that 'scratch-built' means 'not from a kit'. 'Scratch-built to my own design' means 'not from [somebody else's] plan'. Wikipedia seems to agree with this definition too.

So I am very happy to admire your truly impressive and beautifully scratch-built model. Good job!

  • @pahtreekM Built from scratch just means that you make all the components yourself, whether or not you use a plan for reference is irrelevant. As long as you don't use a model kit with pre-made items, it is built from scratch. Very nice work, it handles well. A testament to the original designer Hermann Pohlmann. He may have been fighting on the wrong side, but his plane was an amazing accomplishment.

  • @ILOVEANNAGREATLY interesting so if you use actuall plans then its scratch built.

    i would think that odd.

  • ohhh! What a gorgeous model! I love the cockpit detailing. You fly it with the figure strapped in? Magnificent!

  • nice video, and nice flight

  • Nice model...I'm inspired. You fly it very realisticly. If you like German aircraft you might like to check my video of my Proctor Albatros DVa.

    Cheers

  • All its missing is that dive siren! Very well done!

  • lol 02:12

    =]

  • thx dude..

  • what's the name of the blues song?

nice Plane.! i have a 65" Royal Products ju-87 Stuka

  • The thrill is gone.....

    B.B. King

  • i love the bombs and it so freakin amazing you rock the stuka is my fav bomber!!

  • beautiful...thank you for sharing!

  • is that guillows because i have a stuka from guillows and it drops bombs??

  • im guessing you where eager to get this baby airborne:)

judging by the model pilots face.

  • it drops bombs really????

  • it drops bombs really????

  • Wow! Wagner is a good choice for the music

  • man thats from the symphony No.9 by BEETHOVEN not Wagner

  • Its the part "Scherzo" of this symphony. Its delivered as an examlpe music with Windows Media Player on XP!

  • whats the name of the first song?

  • Make bombs with pet bottles. Fill it with fire extinguiser powder and high pressure air. When they hit the ground, they explode.

great video, and plane. 5 stars.

  • looks great

  • Did you know that the "flying monkeys" in the film THE WIZARD OF OZ were fashioned around the distinctive appearance of the JU-87 Stuka.

  • You're a really lucky man. Take care of your Stuka. It's a masterpiece!

  • By the way: The engine sounds are very similar to the real stuke when it flies by! really cool!

I'm the biggest fan of the Stuka !

  • You're a really lucky man! Take care of your Stuka. It's a masterpiece!

  • wow, this must have taken you forever, but in the end it looked very, very nice!!!

i wish i had that kind of talent!!!

  • impresive.. just needed some sirens GJ

  • That is totally awesome!!! Great job!

  • asian

  • Well done!

    Very cool man

  • Well done, magnificent aircraft with definitely attention to detail!

  • Wow Patreek you sure know what you are doing here. I just bought me a hobby people stuka and waiting to buy the other stuff - and im still busy crashing on the FMS computer program! how did you make this, scratch built from plans or a kit?

  • you did a great job, it is artistic. Do you live in aMaerica? i am planning to build a stuka from ziroli like yours

  • Nice job.... Soft touch on the sticks makes the flight look very real...
