A very slight bit of photoshop on the stills and we would be asking what theatre were they taken in the war. Very impressive model of one of my favourite plans of WW2.
that's a very nice plane ,... i wonder if there's something to get anywhere that is like a scale built siren,... the real STUKAS had those attached besides the cockpit on the left I think,.... that's why they have that scary image "screaming out while preparing the nose drop bomb drops" ,.. anyways very cool !!!!
First things first, I have always been interested in WWII aircraft, especially the Avro Lancaster bomber and the Ju-87 'Stuka' dive bomber. I was lucky to see a Lancaster fly past, at the Clacton-On-Sea air show few years ago, and again today, for the Royal Wedding Flypast here, in the UK, but I have never seen a Stuka fly. I wouldn't want to, unless in peacetime! Your aircraft is incredible, as is your craftsmanship and flying ability. Thanks for this brlliant video, and keep building!
now can you ride in one of these giant rc controlled airplanes, i weigh 145 lbs, is it possible i can go fo ra spin in one of these ?? lol plz let me know
Great build! Really captures the rugged brutish appearance of the real thing. Very convincing weathering! Was is all airbrushed? It looks like its been to hell and back, just how I like warbirds to look! The blood in the back in the other vid is a bit grim!
Beautiful model. Well built and well flown. The video would be greatly improved however if that annoying music were removed. I wanted to hear the engine sounds in different flight conditions.
Very nice bird. Well done. Who doesn't like the Stuka? Despite its' many faults it has that look. And, I think it took courage to fly these things back in the day. The pilots knew the deal, especially over the vast expanses of Russia. Their job wasn't easy.
one big model! were sould i start for plan building. i dont have any help or much experiance. just started. i've only got a .46 nitro trainer and a parkzone bf109E lol. anyone know?
@pahtreekM lol i dont think id fly sumthing with the time effort and love and blood that goes into a scratch build there just my foamy or wing dragon. Got to get me a stuka i luv em not to many kits/plans about tho ones there is are way above my paygrade and skill level as i type there is a 1/72 scale model dive bombing me from the ceiling got to try making one from foam if i can find sum its a bitch to find in uk
So what the hell does scratch built mean then? I always call anything built pretty much scratch. as in that it wasnt an arf and/ or came in a box and looked like a dam jigsaw puzzle or kindling.
Wonderfully done! I also like the scale look, both close up and when flying. The engine seems to be right (scale) as well - those things where not pylon racers.
One odd thing, though: who the hell let an army general get behind the stick????
You are correct. I guess in the age of arf's and kit cutters, many around here are using the term "scratch built" a bit loosely. We incorrectly say if you cut your own wood you scratch built it, but you are correct. It is not scratch built, but built from ziroli plans. Thanks for the correction. But I am "scratch building" a 1/3 scale curtis hawk p-6e! lol
@pahtreekM My understanding from 40 years of building model aircraft (oh god!) is that 'scratch-built' means 'not from a kit'. 'Scratch-built to my own design' means 'not from [somebody else's] plan'. Wikipedia seems to agree with this definition too.
So I am very happy to admire your truly impressive and beautifully scratch-built model. Good job!
@pahtreekM Built from scratch just means that you make all the components yourself, whether or not you use a plan for reference is irrelevant. As long as you don't use a model kit with pre-made items, it is built from scratch. Very nice work, it handles well. A testament to the original designer Hermann Pohlmann. He may have been fighting on the wrong side, but his plane was an amazing accomplishment.
Wow Patreek you sure know what you are doing here. I just bought me a hobby people stuka and waiting to buy the other stuff - and im still busy crashing on the FMS computer program! how did you make this, scratch built from plans or a kit?
Great, now we need a spitfire shooting paintballs to it.

you should get a whisle on the front to make it screach when it dives then it would be absolute perfection aside from that supurb work

an excellent build, well done. now if you could minaturise and add a siren for dive bombing then that would be perfection.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we like to fly model aeroplane?
(2) What is fun, enjoyment and feeling that to encourage to fly RC aeroplane?
(3) What is the fun, enjoyment and feeling to spend time and money to build our own RC planes?
(4) Why do we want to take part in RC aeroplane competition and to compete flying skills with one another?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

"scratch built from Ziroli plans"
This seems to be a contradiction in terms.
Either it was scratch built OR built from someones plan. It can't be both.
In any case, thanks for posting.
