MW3 Specialist Strike Package Tips

This is probably a really stupid question, but since you get all proficiencies at the specialist bonus, would you get a silencer if you didn't have one assigned? For example, pp90m1 with jjust rapid fire?

Have you ever used Hardline IN the specialist package? Im just wondering if by unlocking hardline during the specialist package progression do the rest of the unlocked perks take 1 less kill? And would the MOAB take 1 less kil at that point?

Shits not newbie. I constantly run scavenger pro, quickdraw pro, sit rep with slight of hand pro, assassin pro and stalker pro. I use the rushing type of perks on my assault rifle class

you should try going with a PP90,Mp9 as secondary then perks Sleight of hand pro, Assasin pro and steady aim pro. then for specialist put Hardline for 2 , blast shield you'llget at 3 and then put scavenger because by 5 kills you'll start to run out of ammo, or u can switch scavenger and blast shield/ (Mp9 as a secondary is amazing, just get a red dot or some sort of atachment, its like using overkill.

@iKnowMacintosh its more commonly considered "noobish" because you still get streaks without having to stay alive to get kills, and therefor doesnt require more "skill"

today I watched a vid that suggested you use specialist to build skills for the game and then go for assault packages. your suggestion makes good sense. silenced weapons, blind eye, and assassin would hide me pretty darn well.

hey guys for every1 watching this and thinking of using hardline in ur second perk slot DONT DO IT! think about it..... if i start hardline, i get 1 kill then assassin, 3 kills then sleight of hand. BUT if i start with assassin straight away, i then get hardline after 2 kills and SoH the next kill or 3 kills. this means when starting with hardline i lose out on assassin for 1 kill with no reward as i still achieve SoH after 3 kills either way.

i rush and i am currently using Dead Silence and considering Blind Eye cause i DON'T have enough gun skill yet. :( (working on it though and getting a little better)

i was also using silencer until i discovered i am better with akimbo FMG's and MP9's. now my original primaries are my secondaries.

OR I could START with my Assassin RED perk and be invisible at the very beginning.... -.- (Hardline is a wasted perk for a specialist. does NOT benefit the user. aka its a perk that helps earn perks. aka hardline is an empty perk and Assassin fills the gap. Its like having 3 perks like before. Your real 4th perk is got at 3 kills using hardline. when you could have started with Assassin and in 2 kills got, lets say, quick draw in one less kill.) Think smarter than hardline for specialist.

@Gogetankz Hardline really does help unless you can run around and normally go on an eight kill streak to get all specialist perks, that is the only time hardline would really be redundant, because i get alot of assists and perks coming in a kill earlier helps. You could camp to get the eight kills, though i would never camp, which is why alot of people are using Hardline on all classes except for support classes, and even then the assist turned to kills pro bonus helps with that

and then your 4 and 6 and 8 killstreak are resptively lowered by 1 kill

@Gogetankz you knows it dude i my main perks are blind eye assassin and stalker so im always invisble to enemy killstreaks then its slight of hand scavenger and quickdraw or blastshield depending on map all perks pro to this set up works very well i also have the same class withsome of the perks the other way round and use accordingly

Wouldn't you want to use a silencer on your assault rifle? It only makes sense in combination with assassin and blind eye.

@Vallapalooza oh god no!! the reason for this is, they might be completely invisible to radar but it weakens the weapon. If someone spots you without using radar, you have an extreme disadvantage in a gunfight beacause supressors weaken your rifle's range, aka less damage farther away. And this can potentially reset your perks at death. without the silencer, you are barely detectable by gunshots alone. if they do spot you, at least you can match them in a gunfight.

Assassins Pro 2 Kills

Sleight Of Hand Pro 4 kills

Dead Silence 6 kills

@kahralarm95 Your correct, in all the other call of dutys stuns where .5 seconds faster then flashes, in this one they increased the pin pulling animation. I've never used flashes in MW3 since i thought they would be the same.

fastest way to level up: specialist+kill confirmed. my fav specialist layout is:

Primary: Mp7

Secondary: MP9s

Perk:Blind Eye

Perk:Hardline Pro

Perk:Dead Silence pro

(specialist perks) : assasin pro, quickdraw pro, and scavenger pro. try it out

I say specialist is the strongest since you get every perk by 7-8 kills, including Assassin and Blind Eye. You will basically have a countermeasure for almost every killstreak in the assault or support packages.

This package is absurd. Probably less fun than assault or support but in my opinion it is probably more powerful. Guess that depends on how good you are too though.
