  • I have gotten involved by going to Al Franken's site

  • @airforcemax Great :)

  • @55ella2007k - I did my best about the dangers to Net Neutrality so they could decide what to do on Facebook, but unfortunately my profile was deleted with no explanation. Listen to George Carlin, Smedley Butler, and President Eisenhower as how the rich and powerful manipulate to ruin life on Earth so they keep their place with minimal opposition. If they control the net these people make the laws so there will be no-one to expose who they are and how they got there. Always do what is right.

  • @airforcemax I love George Carlin and Smeldley Butler...a few people who saw through the bullshit.

  • @55ella2007k - US businesses are the ones who are actually destroying the USA economically by outsourcing jobs to other countries to minimize pay and benefits especially Communist China thus proving to be the real enemy of Americans. Americans are brainwashed from childhood to accept this behavior. Smedley Butler warned the US about money worshiping people and his message is still ignored. President Eisenhower warned about the Military-Industrial Complex.

  • @airforcemax Yes, exactly.

  • No, We don't want net to sold out to the crooked goons of corporates.

Specially the business and political news shows.

This time its people vs power-centers and not just in US.

  • It's all about money and mind control. It's really very simple. Disappointing how many people can't get their minds around it (having lived in this world their whole lives.) But I guess all we can do for them is continue to point things out, inspire and (with youtubers like you) educate. People are waking up.

We definitely need to protect freedom of speech on the Internet! It has done a world of good. I think the best thing we can do is not to watch commercial chnnales, period! Peace.

  • Are you sure you got this right? Its my understanding that this will bring more Gov control over the internet. Something that I am strongly opposed to.

    watch?v=pQj--NwHmko

  • That video is a bunch of horseshit. Her exact reasoning: "Well, like, like I can like, like load my Facebook today so like, like that means NOTHING COULD EVER GO WRONG!"

Oh that's great reasoning, just great. I guess an airheaded blonde thinks she's better at reading the writing on the wall than Google, Skype, or Facebook, eh? Much ado about nothing from billion-dollar corporations?

Read about what NN is and understand it's not control: it's about decentralizing control.

  • Thank you picklebarrels ! Your video in this regard goes a long way in explaining this...better than I did here. Perhaps you could post it as a response vid, so that people begin to see the larger picture involved ?

  • Lets me start by Congratulating you picking an apt name, Pickle Barrels. Your thoughts are mixed up in your head. Google, Skype and other net based companies came up because they thrived on INNOVATION.

Why government does nothing to stop promoting the Monopolistic practices? Microsoft (Since 80s), Oracle, Google are buying off competitors and cutting out consumers choice, what about that?

If you sell off the internet to corps, they will become "TOO BIG TO FAIL", So keep your savings handy 4THEM

  • That's nice shuvankr.

So what does any of that have to do with net neutrality? God you scaremongers are stupid. At least understand what the hell you're arguing about.

  • if only they were allowed to teach this in schools

maybe it wouldnt have gotten this bad

  • You actually trust government don't you? More government into anything will make it worlse

BTW, the 2 eveils is your brainwashing talking. You had other choices.

  • yostevoak1: indeed I did, up to a certain point. That's why I voted for Kucinich in the primaries. And you probably voted for Ron Paul. But neither one made it to the FINALS, if my memory serves me right. I would like to hear some concrete proposals, at this point, if you care to share them. Because I don't have one. Do you ?

  • please join! savetheinternet(dot)com

    thanks Ella.......for waking me up!

  • Tks Ella. RE:net neutrality. I, like others here thought it was the opposite. Will take your admonishment seriously & do my homework.

My2cents 1.abolish corporate rights as human beings 2. set term limits!

3 abolish lobbyist 4 abolish The Commission on Presidential Debates. btw, WHO established them? why? when?

right after Ross Perot scared the bejesus out of TPTB 1987

reign in the military industrial complex

    how? ni4d(dot)us & watch?v=1iDbTsmVC30&feature=player_embedded

  • @fatpius - The mainstream Republicans and Democrats help jobs go overseas with most US business owners not really complaining except for their own benefit proving very few care about the US worker. I had my facebook profile deleted because I was making people aware of this to a lot of people all over the world. Their explanation was a joke. The US business owners will be the ones to destroy the USA better than the Communist would had done in war.

  • You are absolutely right Obama is NOT a SOCIALIST he is a FACIST,With communist surrounding him. I know Communism and Fascism when i see it. I LIVED IT.NAMES and LABELS are indicators of actions,Obama's actions are the pure definition of FACISM.....Govt and Corporations working TOGETHER to oppress .Obama has placed COMMUNIST and RADICALS in his administration this is not a "label" this is a FACT.I am an independent .I just call them like i see them. VIVA CUBA LIBRE!

  • if you wanna see corruption come to louisiana, they still use french laws (codes) from the 1800s

  • good video. america is spending money it doesnt have using a will it has run out of, and putting millions of people in harms way in order to spread our brand of tainted democracy.

  • *Applause* You got moxie! Awesome! I'm on board, first agenda, nobody vote, period!

  • many of your subs may view this as less gov't or more gov't without understaNDING THE ISSUES. it has to be put in one neat box.

  • i wonder have you ever read "the protocols of the elders of zion"? i did that last week just out of curiosity and really found myself astonished how accurate in parts it predicted the 20th century even if it was found/wrote in the late 19th century. have a look into that just for open mind sake or so ^^ its interesting..

  • the thing i don't understand about net neutrality is.. what exactly do they intend to regulate? the internet works just fine. All federal and state laws apply, so what do they propose to change?

someone said to me once that they were inclined to think the government would twist net neutrality into the very thing we don't want, to please their corporate cronies as usual.

seeing how this is how they operate, i'm not sure what to think about the issue.

  • luckily there is massive opposition to this, unluckily its not being broadcasted on the mainstream media which the internet will soon become.

    thanks Ella, great vlog

  • i agree with you 100% .

  • You are right Miss Ella. Absolutely right!

  • It was only a matter of time. *****

  • THANK YOU ELLA! That was by far one of your best videos...VERY IMPORTANT.

    LISTEN...To what she is saying.

  • Comment removed

  • Why didnt you and why are you not supporting a third party? THE LESSOR OF TWO EVILS? SAD

  • Hey people, she is right on! Our freedom is dwindling faster then an Obama popularity poll.

One of the last redoubt's that we ordinary citizens have is our freedom to speak out on the internet. Are we going to let the Plutocracy seize the net from us too?

When that day comes I hope I'm outta here.

  • Isn't Net neutrality pushed by the big media corporation? If so then it's not good. Anyone can tell me what net neutrality is? I was under the impression this was a way for the power that be to control the net. :/

  • MustachaVerra: no, all the major media are fighting against net neutrality. They do not want to give up their lucrative cable markets and they are dead set against it. Their marketing ploy, regarding the net-neutrality is exactly the opposite, of course. Comcast and Clear Channel are pushing against this very hard. Net-Neutrality is a grass roots movement, the big corporations will do anything they can to destroy it.

  • Once again you are entirely correct.

Sadly, 9 viewers of this vid chose not to support (at least w/ comment) yours views espoused.

I must return to an obvious error in trying to correct this gov't: if it is full of elected persons who are beholden to corps. then there will be no salvaging the system by their hands.

No substantial legislation will arise to curb corps.' influence thru $ or manipulation.

Either independents need to be elected in from the ground up, or the whole thing go up in fire.

  • Great Video, We need to protect the internet if we have any chance at all to educate the masses about vaccines, 9/11 truth, fluoride, and the other dangers that threaten our country. Both parties are corporately controlled and we need to get liberty minded candidates into office in all communities. Love your videos, keep it going, we should never be afraid to speak our mind, unless we want to live in communist china we must be vigilant. live free or die.

  • The internet was not started by big business. The free market did not create it.

Now the corporations want to get their hooks in it.

    They must be stopped.

  • Citizen kong , the internet is a excelent example of what the free market is .Sally from Kansas can compete with Wallmart by selling her wares on the web.Wallmart wants the feemarket /internet shut down , limited and regulated. So Sally cant compete. They also want to stiffle her opinons .How do they do this? Get big government(because they will have hire more people) to licence and regulate the internet in wallmarts favour. And this is what has happening for years in other areas of the economy

  • Did the free market create the internet?

  • I would say the freemarket made into what it is today. Would you agree?

I mean, who would want to logon to the net if all you got was Military chit chat or one of Al Gores speeches.

  • I was thinking about your statement regarding the free market and the internet. interesting. there are certain companies that dominate like Amazon, but you got me thinking. one thing I like about Amazon is you can also buy used products from private sellers. the free market has ruined the outside world though. ma and pa shops have been put out of business by monopolies (some with state undeserved subsidies that must be stripped) but you do have me thinking.

  • Your thinking of Corporatism, not free market capitalism. Michael Moore was right except in his terminology. Free markets are exactly what their name suggest - Free. free from all forces except the forces of the consumer. Government involvement distorts the market & leads to Corporatism.

  • continued from previous. the only problem I have is really describing the internet as a free or not free market. free markets generally relate to products made in other countries which take away from our means of production (JOBS). I'm not exactly sure if Net Neutrality relates to the sale of products though.

  • yes, free markets include free trade. but you as the consumer have the choice of what you buy & where you buy it. another problem is currency value the more a country currency is worth, the more expensive products will be to a country with a currency that has a weaker currency. which would put us in a stronger position to sell goods overseas in our current situation............. if we still made goods in this country. we are no longer an industrial nation, we've become a consumer nation.

  • of course we aren't an industrial country because the protectionist policies have been stripped for unConstitutional free trade policies. Alexander Hamilton clearly states this topic in the Report on Manufacturers.

  • opps ,sorry

a few words get omitted or spelled wrong when I use my little notebook here..

  • yea, ella, you are dead on! thanks for the vid. without unity, we will never overcome the nwo. too many sheep who refuse to even look behind the curtain, they want to believe that gov loves us and will fix things and let us live in our little dream lands. the truth might not be pretty, but it's still the truth.
