I really don't see what is so awful about this film. Yeah, Tom and Jerry talk but they talk at some point in the original cartoons and there is still the love-hate relationship between them. It is a flawed film, but it's still a good piece of entertainment :)

Despite the fact that the plot is a bit messed up and Tom and Jerry talking and being friends is a bit unorthadox, I didn't give a shit when I was 6 and forever watching this through summer when we rented it.
