  • What lovely, glossy feathers...so perfect! I bet all your clients are very happy with the companion pets you have raised!

  • I WANT ONE CAN I HAVE ONE LOL

  • Wow, what a beautiful temprement (sp) those birds have. Awesome video :)

  • omg . u hav so many of them . its good when u hav more . they r more playful

  • you handle your macaws so beautifully. i had a yellow front amazon parrot that was literally my child for 9 years but she got out of her cage when i went on vacation for a week and i never found her. . . parrots are the most beautiful intelligent and loving animals. . . much prefer them to dogs and cats haha

  • Where in canada do you live? I am severely interested in getting a macaw. I have a cockatiel currently so havent had much experience with big birds. But I am willing to learn before hand. I also want to become an avian vet tech. I absolutely love birds.

  • aww that is so amazing :) I have had my B & G for 5 months now and he was a handfull with serious trust issues when I got him but we are gradually getting there :) Yours are beautiful xx

  • lol they way you have your set up kind of reminds me of having like puppys lol just like in your livingroom with a bunch of toys for them haha cute

  • Its soo amazing how they trust you...there really happy...very cute video!!

  • what beautiful birds you have! they are like real toddlers. i bet its hard to give them all affection but you seem to handle them well :)

  • I'm reading about B&G macaws, in 8 months could I possibly adopt one of your babies?

  • Thank you, but it depends on several things. First, I don't sell Macaws to people who don't have parrot experience. I don't believe this is the type of species that anyone should learn as they go along with. They require an owner who has basic first hand knowledge of parrot behaviour, handling, dietary needs etc and don't recommend them to first time parrot owners. Secondly depends on where you're located. I'm in Canada and can only ship within Canada.

  • @CraigLIsaac I live in US, I thought they could ship across.

  • If you meet the above criteria, I'd be happy to add you to our waiting list.

  • aww...they're so affectionate!~

  • They're such fun! Mine is like having a toddler around.

  • sweet sweet parrots!

  • hey all PLZZ COMMENT ON

  • hiii

    did you buy these macaw?

  • hii

    how old are their parents?

  • I have a question....

I have a 3yr old female Umbrella Cockatoo and I want to get her a friend. I've heard that if I buy her a male Umbrella I might loose her because she'll be closer to her mate. So, I'm thinking of either a B&G macaw or Double Yellow Headed Amazon. What would be best for her? Can I keep her in the same cage together as long the cage is big enough?? and, should I get her a male or female? tks!

    Love your birds!

  • i absolutely loved this video. i love macaws, particularely blue and gold. they are the cutest things ever! if you make more vids, can you add the pair in the black nesting thing? i wanted to see them, but the video ended :(

  • it requires a lot of time and work to raise a bird

  • Wow, I want one so bad but the breeder here is a little bit to exspensive and I'm hoping to purchase one in the future if GOD wills it.

  • do u keep the breeding pairs in a quite room

if they are using the nest box does it mean it is breeding seasom

  • Nope, they are in a breeding room with Severe Macaws and Quakers.

Use of the nest box depends on the bird. Some parrots simply like the comfort and privacy obtained by being in the nestbox. While others will only use it for what it's intended for.

If your pair normally doesn't use their nest box and are now in it. I would say that's a good sign they are in nesting mode.

  • How many breading Blue and Gold Macaws do you have..? Do they normally come in lots of 5..? I'm buying one this year, its costing me $6000 jus for the macaw and I still need a cage and food.. :(

  • We have 1 pair of Breeding Blue & Gold Macaws. Our pair typically has clutches of 3, however, they double clutched last summer and we had 5. They are absolutely amazing birds, as you can see in the video, they are extremely affectionate, gentle and lovable. Wow...that's quite expensive for the bird alone. I guess it's all dependent on supply and demand and where you're located.

  • they are sooooo adorable. i bet you miss them :(

  • Thank you. I do miss them tremendously, but im lucky that my customers send me pictures and updates.
