  • we've got 33 stupid Radiohead fanboys here

  • its like radiohead but it isnt radiohead.

  • nose que me pasa en 2:42 es demasiado bueno! te amo keane!

  • how old is keane?

  • @clulexproductions What do you mean by how old is Keane? Keane is a band, not a person. Tom (singer) is 32, Tim (pianist) is 35, Richard (drummer) is 36 and Jesse (bassist, new member) is 30. If you're talking about the band, it was formed in 1997 and they released their first album in 2004. There you go, lots of information :P

  • KEANE. <3333333

Just because everyone mentions the other band.

  • ma che è sta merda?

  • radiohead radiohead radiohead radiohead radiohead radiohead radiohead?

    this isnt radiohead readiohead

  • because keane eats my butt.

  • @235jorge

please close comments on this video it's really driving me mad how radiohead obsessive idiots watch this song and call it a ripoff

  • Thom Yorke sure has let himself go. Poor guy.

  • radiohead fuckin pwn

  • Comment removed

  • excelente canción me encanta la voz de mi tom es lo maximo

  • filth

  • im a huge radiohead fan and a huge keane fan, keane didnt rip of radiohead, its just got the same name ffs! this is song is excellent, end of story

  • UMMM these are two different songs. It''s in the title Radiohead's- A wolf at the door.

Keanes- THE wolf at the door.

  • inside up and upside downxD

  • I swear one of the lyrics was blah blah SCATTERBRAIN blah, or is the radiohead connatations causing a freudian slip of the ear lol

  • @jonbonjoviham haha it actually said Scatterbrain BUT still that song is from the album Hail To The Thief wich was released two years after this so, just to confirm this song is NOT a copy of Radiohead...

  • yo keane imma gonna let you finish but Radiohead has the best Wolf at the door of all time

  • That's right Kanye!

    Radiohead for the win!

  • Hey keane is a good band BUT RADIOHEAD are the best!!!

  • You guys should really do some research before posting crap and insulting others.

"The wolf at the door" is an idiom and..

"...refers to any danger or predator that seeks to ravage the inhabitants within, ranging from starvation and poverty to physical death."

Call Google and see how many sites show up with that name.

So.. it's basically normal if two bands name a song like this.

  • i like keane but i prefer radiohead's wolf at the door

  • Stop bitching... radiohead and keane are both good bands. I don't see why people have to treat music like sports teams. It's okay to like more than one musician.

  • I like Keane and Radiohead... what now?

  • do a little research before saying such things guys... keane's "wolf at the door" came out first than radiohead's.

    keane: June 1, 2001

    radiohead: June 9, 2003

look it up yourself if you don't believe me.

  • See that title? What does it say? "/Keane/" Wolf at the Door?XD If you're such a radiohead fan, then why can't you tell the difference between the two songs? Did you even listen to the video? XD I'm pretty sure they sound nothing alike whatsoever.

  • @TheDarlingOphelia How dare you come to a radiohead page and say "fuck radiohead" don't you have anything better to do.

  • well this has nothing related with the song from Radiohead but damn, how the hell did Keane dare to use the exact title. Big Fail from Keane, they are farther from radiohead greatness.

  • @ABlake77 Maybe it has to be because this song was released two years before Radiohead's?

  • Yes, i like this song !!!

    Keane !!!

  • Shut up please!

this song has nothing to do with radiohead!

  • whata crap. only radiohead has the awesome wolf at the door.

  • I'm from Brazil, Acre State, this style of music is not mto tanned here, people like Forr, samba.e Mpb, in my opinion the best for me are: Wolf at the door and new one

  • Comment removed

  • I like Keane :/

Really, this song is quite good for their first single.

I mean, they're a god pop band, what more could you ask for?

  • Shut up people- this isnt a Radiohead cover so u shouldn't be comparing them to Keane!

    This is an amazing song.

  • You're right, this is the worst Radiohead cover ever!

  • hahaha wtf

  • This is the greatest song eva! Can someone tell me if its on H+F deluxe?

  • Yep, it's on the 2nd disc.

  • Yup

  • I thought it might be a Radiohead cover too, being naive of Keane's extra early stuff and rare stuff except Walnut Tree, which I thought was great.

However I did think this was something between Nice Dream and You.

  • sounds sexy :)

  • this song is not even the radiohead song at all -_- just the same title, totally different stuff. I personally prefer Radiohead's song, which is one of my fav. This song's pretty cool too.

  • hehe precisely y wolf at the door by RH is my fav off HTTT.

  • eeee Myxomatosis,Sit down, stand up and The Gloaming is much better

  • hehehe i like them too... but wolf at the door just grips me tightly. unrelenting song.

    myxomatosis comes a close second.

  • keane > radio head

  • yeah...and i've been on the moon. three times.

  • well its the truth

  • what is it with people going on these page and moaning that the music is not as good as some other supposedly better band who gives a fuck get a life if you are not a keane fan then fuck off you sad little person us keane fans are not interested in your opinion!!! p.s keane are better than radiohead by a fucking mile!!!

  • i agree that if you dont like it then dont listen to it but radiohead are still better than keane

  • Franz Ferdinand

  • STOP WITH THIS!!!

This is Keane song so why do you still talk about Radiohead and other?

btw I don't like this song very much It's alittle boring they have a lot of better songs

  • it seems like its a tribute to radiohead, keane must have known about the song.

  • aw man, i thought this was keane covering radiohead, that wouldve been cool.

  • same

  • People do realise this came out BEFORE Radioheads version? So if anyone covered, it was Radiohead. Which they didn't cause it's a different song. Durr.

  • Jeezes, no one covered anything. If I had called my song Everybody's Changing, but it would be a totally different song that Keanes song, it wouldn't be a cover! Who gives a shit if this came out before Radioheads song (note: song, not version). It's not a bad song at all. I like it, but still, Radiohead beats Keane any time (in my opinion, off course).

  • this is a disgrace to songs called Wolf at the door

  • if thats gay I would give everything to be gay too.

I will ask it for a date and see what happens

  • Gay song? What a nonsense

    I Agree with RedRedWineMusic

  • Keane is nice but Radiohead is fucking kitch

  • why is everyone mentioning radiohead?

two different songs, same name. kindly shut up about it.

  • @RedRedWineMusic I love Radiohead and Keane a lot so who gives a fuck if the two songs have the same name like you said I agree completely with you about those people needing shut up about the comparing of the two songs they are both great.

  • Even though im a radiohead fan, and I very much like the radiohead "Wolf at the door" better than this, I must point out that it was impossible for this song to be a cover or rip off of radioheads song. It was recorded and released in 2001. Radiohead's Wolf at the door was released on Hail to the theif in 2003.

  • A Wolf at the Door was originally worked on during their production of the album Kid A (released in 2000).

  • it still didn't see the light of day until 2003. Unless Keane were in the studio with radiohead during the Kid A sessions, which i highly doubt.

I'm not even a Keane fan, And I'm a huge radiohead fan (just look at the videos ive posted on youtube). But its pretty unprobable that this song was in any way influenced by radiohead's "wolf at the door"

  • @JAK2112 I would say it's more like You from Pablo Honey

  • they just corrected it. lyrics and music are now improved so enjoy !

  • because it was a stupid and incorrect comment? (thumbs down)

  • now that I'm tasting those delightful effects of your hyperintelligent comment I feel a bit embarrassed about mine. guess I am far outpaced because I never studied and now I've got to pay for it. perhaps gonna hang me up tomoz

  • no really, if an American is calling me stupid I am concerned... looks like only dumbasses visit this so even if you were right I would totally fit into your group.

  • keane song was released in 2001 and rh in 2003

  • oh so who is PLAGIATOR?

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe the Radiohead's song was released in 2003, but they were working on this song since 1997. So, it doesn't prove anything...

And, seriously... Radiohead covering a band like Keane? Just the fact to write this makes me smiling. Don't tell me you really though it was...

  • Shut up this definitely isn't Radiohead it definitely sounds like nickleback or oasis sorry

  • Yeah it's true Radiohead songs can't sound this bad no matter who sings them. They have a quality control on them.

  • being a fan of both...don't pretend pablo honey has quality control on it.

  • esta canción me trae loquita

  • their findest masterpiece.

    so subtle and strong

  • ops

  • dont make a sound

  • agreed, but I don't think it can necessarily be called a "cover." By definition covers cannot lyrically be changed drastically. Rather, it's their interpretation or response to Radiohead's "Wolf at the Door", a song that they obviously enjoyed. Basically, what they did to "Wolf at the Door" es como is like what they did to "Dirrty" and "Bootylicious" to make "Dirrtylicious"... not really a cover, but an interpretatiion. si?

  • It is Keane's song. If it's a cover, the sound, the lyrics, the melody and the watever that goes along with it should be similiar to radiohead. Interpretation, yes, perhaps. Both is pointing towards fighting the wolf & finding inner strength. Copy is not the word to describe this song but rather being influence by radiohead. That is a good thing cos radiohead is a great band to look up to. Both songs are different in their own way but still manage to deliver the message. Keane made it their own.

  • right. that's what I said ;)

  • Both lyrics to the songs are good!! Radiohead's lyrics are more random & personal.."Get the flan in the face , The flan in the face " while Keane's lyrics are more literal..."Oh no, don't make a sound, The wolf's at the door" Don't compare them..and be angry at Keane..it's the wolf we should be angry at..shessshh

  • smacks you in the head

    knifes you in the neck

    ...kicks you in the teeth

    steel toe caps

    takes all your credit cards

    step up get the gunge

    get the eggs

get the flan in the face...

  • La de Radiohead es otra

  • no es cover o si

    the guitar is awesome :)

  • Keane solo mejora las canciones que coverea

  • Estoy de acuerdo les añade dimensión

  • they just destroyed the song

  • This is an original song by Keane... hello??

  • definitivamente la musica y la letra es muy buena! solo que me gusta mas con Thom Yorke

  • love it :D

  • diffrents songs, differents song name (little detail ... A wolfat the door ..)

Nevermind !both are good but ... personally , prefer radiohead ... though the confusion allowed me to hear that artist. More music to love ^^

  • moreover, Keane is "Wolf at the door" and Radiohead is "A wolf at the door"...

  • I don't understand why some people talk about Keane covering Radiohead...the title of the songs might be the same but these are two completely totally different songs !

It's useless to compare them !

  • true dat

  • if you don't like keane fuck you!

  • Obviously the two songs are different, but listen to that opening guitar progression - it is similar to the carnival like sound of Radiohead's song.

  • Im not much of a keane fan, and a huge radiohead fan, but honestly they don't sound similar in the least.

  • both songs are awesome. Obviously radiohead is the best band ever so there is no reason to compare but this song is really good.

  • Agreed, comparing tastes will not find an end. Some people prefer sweet some others don't. What's the point comparing two different "same titled" song?

Anybody comparing radiohead's creep with TLC's creep?

I love radiohead, and admiring keane. Believe me I also like Metallica and Korn. If someone like one particular band/singer and everybody else has to like it too, live would be boringly boring!!

  • How can you be so uncomplimentary about a wonderful band like Keane?

Your comments are disgusting...Too bad there's only you thinks like that!!!

    We all love them!!!!

  • i mean ... I really think this two songs

are too damn different between them this

there's no way to compare them ... this is

so Keane ... they reinvented this song ...

  • this is not the radiohead song, this is diferent one , has nothing to do with them

  • this song is leet. Radiohead is God.

  • is this meant to be anything like the radiohead version

  • as much as I like this band THERE IS NOOOOOOO WAY THEY ARE BETTER THAN RADIOHEAD!

JUST NO WAY! it's not right to say that.

  • This is barely the radiohead song...

  • Radiohead es la piola y keane se la mama a radiohead

  • RADIOHEAD.

  • ohh please....how do you compare radiohead with keane

  • cuz keane is The besT band ever! duuh!

  • easily

  • hell yeah!

  • "better than radiohead" is like saying "more than infinite".

  • exactly! thats how good keane is!

  • amo esta cancion, es del zoomorfo????

    '

  • This is a damn good song! Keane are quite a hypnotic band.

  • YUUUUU!

  • Psh. Keane is better than all the rest!

  • keane

    <3

  • it's called "wolf at the door"

    he says "scatterbrain" at like

1:47. you think they were paying

    homage to Radiohead a bit?

  • Probably.

  • i even thought this was a radiohead cover after i heared the first chords

  • the precence of dominic shows this is much more rock that any other song of thiers maybe cause of the guitar

  • I thought it was a cover of the Radiohead song XD

  • I thought so too

  • Keane:throwing rings in the mountain for retards.

  • crackin song! was the second they ever made. and only 50 copies were made, it was made on there own label when they couldnt get signed and they sold it from pubs where they played. cant think of a more deserving talented band!

  • jajaja tanto q joden con la tontera radio-keane xD

    ambos son buenos

    muuu muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu buenos

    depende d nuestros gustos

    y filo lo demas

  • I love this song! I love the guitar and the way Tom sings .. that Don't make a sound phrase almost at the end it's lovely.

  • I love this song. xD It's nice to hear all of the evolving sounds of Keane throughout the years.

  • ES ESTA LA CANCION DE RADIOHEAD?
