  • If I remember correctly, the plan was for him to do several of these shows during his North America tour, but after this one, they cancelled all the rest. Something about the atmosphere being completely outside of what he is used to, and him feeling totally uncomfortable with it...

  • The only person who's better live than on a cd

2:05-2:20 is best sound I've ever heard

  • He is amazing - this sounds as good as the go live cd!

  • he looks so nervous to me.

you're so lovely, jonsi. i adore you with my whole heart.

  • Uhm is he cross eyed I love him but im Just wondering cuz in the beginning

  • @XxxXSeptemberXxxX : Jonsi is blind in one eye. I forget which.

  • @AbstractNumbers his right eye

  • @XxxXSeptemberXxxX He's blind in right eye

  • @XxxXSeptemberXxxX He's blind in his right eye

  • @Browni903 Yeah I found that out 9 months ago lol

  • How the hell does he do that?! This is the second time I've had tears streaming down my cheeks from one of his songs- and I can't even understand what he's singing about!

  • @KRSNA144 : When he sang this at the concert at the Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley, I completely melted and teared up too. Definitely something. Such a wonderful guy/inspiration.

  • I have not heard anyone comment on a Jonsi concert saying, "eh, it was ok". He has a profound effect on people, myself included. He reaches in and unapologetically rearranges your insides to see the world more beautifully than you did before.

  • I was there, not far behind you, half climbing over the aisles. I'm not gonna lie, I was totally brought to tears, both here and at the concert on Thursday in Berkley. Both times got teased! He's one of my favorite people in the world. Ace on getting footage without getting yelled at. You're so lucky, getting to meet him :)

    Thanks!

  • @simplesoulful : He is definitely something special. :) And yeah! I was so scared on getting caught haha. I was kind of pretending I was taking pics. Well I was after this but yeah :) It was a very strange/good day.

  • This show was totally worth the 4 hour drive from Grass Valley to see. Meeting the band was amazing! *dies of awesome*

  • @SmellyYomon: 4 hour drive? Niice - yeah Jonsi has been the most inspiring person in my life for the past 5 years, it just keeps growing. Btw, you were there at the Golden Gate Park too? :)

  • Now that I'm slightly past the overwhelming astonishment of this, I'm so happy for you!! I'll just have to experience it vicariously haha. This song is amazing also. Thanks for putting up with me.

  • @LoveLuckCouture : Thanks, after that day, I wanted to quit school and everything else because my life was pretty much complete. Obviously I'm still here and going to school so yeah. And you're welcome.

  • wait. WHAT? You got to hang out with them at the Golden Gate Park???? How did that happen!?

I went to this too but I was pretty far back oh well

  • @LoveLuckCouture : A friend of mine and I talked to them an hour after the show and Jonsi invited us to the park so we went after lunch. :)

  • @AbstractNumbers hollllly god. Sorry but I'm going to freak out because that seems like the most amazing experience and It's hard for me to even process! Can you tell me everything please?

  • @LoveLuckCouture : Haha - they are very nice people. Quiet too I must say - everyone who hung out with them at the park had their own thing going on. It was a beautiful day out, everyone was had someone to talk to, or was eating or relaxing. Jonsi and the band mates were eating salads for the most part and just chilled. Not too much talking with them, but I did get to talk to the drummer. A bit about San Francisco and Iceland. Overall that pretty much explains how it went.

  • @AbstractNumbers wow how, intimate hah. I think I would've started bawling at the park hahah. Did he invite you guys to the park because you were getting along quite well after the show? You had lunch with them as well? Did you get to ride in their tour bus? Sorry for all the bombarding questions..

  • @LoveLuckCouture: My heart was racing the whole time but I was actually calm. I didn't want to seem like a crazy person. We just asked where they were going after lunch (Jonsi and Alex) went separately, same with my friend and I. He invited us before they left to lunch. Didn't have lunch with em. No bus ride, just park.
