OK guy, presentation, knowledge, use of real camping gear earns you a positive rating and added to my favorites. Keep it going. More of us should add our experience of camping styles. Nice job looking forward to more.
Great review, it convinced me to get a Kelty Noah myself, however I got the 12 instead of the 9. I may not be able to pitch it into a diamond shape but it rocks as a square and A frame winter style shelter.
i use this tarp and love it very much. i have been in some seriuos rain storms with mine but i also use a undertarp on my hammock as well. ive never had a problem with getting wet or with the need for seam seal. i use the eno hammock dbl wide. ive found that there are many many ways to set it up. i have a whole series on this tarp on my channel. i think its the greatest tarp. its all i use.
I'm glad you mentioned the triangular limitations in blowing rain. Even in tarp tent camping this is a concern. Thanks for the metion of its cost and weight.
I looked at these tarps a while back, The color is a draw back for me. We ended up making our own tarp out of rip stop nylon from Hancock Fabrics 10 X 12 cost us $40.00, Nice review cool music track...
Nice review, but why not get the name right? It's called the Kelty Noah's Tarp 9.

B-fish5: Great vid. Is there an advantage to using the ridge line either over (in the provided loops) or under the Kelty tarp? Thanks,
