  • great guitar, got one myself (in black chrome), great tones, love it :D

  • You suck WorldMusicSupply u never answer ur questions :S :/

  • Hi there. It is undoubtedly a nice sounding guitar. What is the weight of this Washburn? Is there lighter or heavier in the Idol series?

    Thanks

    Aluchi

  • @BesosMuchos to put it simply- its ultralight!!!

  • I have the wi64dl and because of the excessive treble roll-off in the single pick-up mode at anything less than 7 on the volume control I have to tweak the tone with a Digitech rp250 to get it to sound bright and airy.

  • @439592 Easy fix: treble bleed!

  • i have this exact smae gguitar

  • hey i like to rape people.

  • Been playing a wi-64 for four years, great guitar to learn on.

  • Does Anyone Know An Awesome Guitar That Is Cheap Besides Fender...

  • is washburn a good guitar brand?

  • @weezyfan25 i have this model and i love it......

  • @weezyfan25 Yes But I Tried A Washburn And I didnt Feel Anything At All...

  • Washburns is the best guitars ever if you aggre up your thrumps

  • @headstock48

played one the other day, and it is very compareable to an gibson SG in weight, maby like 4 lbs. real smooth too

  • Guitar for the $ boys. Don't let the logo on the headstock decide for your ears & fingers. Finally purchased my last electric, best choice ever.

  • Does anyone know how much this guitar weighs? Thanks.

  • @headstock48 Its lighter than both Stratocaster & Les Paul & very solid a great Guitar but My favourite I got at Service Merchandise for around $34.00 It looked like a Fender Stratocaster but had a thinner body & the nut was at the end of the finger board like a Les Paul Not In the finger board and the head stock did Not curve down It was straight like a Les Paul It was light and easy to play.

  • @ortafunk Thank you. Have fun with your playing. I just looked at a PRS SE 24, used for 400.00. Looks and feels nice. Reading reviews online.

  • Ohh mann) I love it

  • man i just picked one of these up for 102 bucks!!!! on ebay can't wait!!!!

  • dude i didnt like it :S i'm sick of always hearing those classical rock and roll riffs in this demos!!

  • can this guitar be a beginner's a guitar?because i want in so badly :)

  • @jjleonel97 yes It can be a beginners Guitar If You can afford It, Its actual Guitar Not a toy. When they say something as Is good for a Beginner or You get what You pay for or save You money buy something better, It does Not mean the product Is Inefficient It means someone Is trying to sell You something more expensive. Also far as I Am concern 2 piece neck & body are just as good one piece & cost much less, see prices at Amazon & The Woodwind & Brasswind. com

  • @ortafunk THANKS :D

  • I have one... and it is the best possibly buy in the guitar market. I got it for about $450 from guitar center.com.... I can't describe how good it is. It is extremely comfortable to play, and the neck is very thin and smooth.

  • @SNAZZYGOLDFISHES

is it hard for short fat fingers to play?

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 i wouldn't think so. If i were you, i would try it out in a guitar shop before purchasing it

  • @SNAZZYGOLDFISHES Do you happen to know how much your guitar weighs? I'm looking for a super lightweight one.

  • @headstock48 I don't know. I am looking around on the internet for that info. According to Amazon.com, it weighs 20 pounds. Is that an unreasonable number? I have no comparison. In my opinion, it is a bit lighter than an SG, and much lighter than a tele or a les. Hope that helps. good luck!

  • @SNAZZYGOLDFISHES Thanks. And yes, twenty pounds? That sounds wrong to me, and I know very little about electric guitars. I think an average weight is maybe ten pounds?

  • fuck all you. this man is better than other guitarists in demos. heavy metal isn't metallica, isn't gun's n roses, isn't megadeth.. you are stupid guys :)

  • i wish i could sell my ibanez for this :(

  • lol 1:27

  • Can someone tell me where is that riff he plays from ? Or it isn't a song ?

  • i have the washburn idol wi65 it is epic they dont make the wi65 anymore

  • hi, you get the "roll control" on vintage advance guitars. that rolls off the humbuckers to single coils and all the tones in between! so yes you can get it on another guitar!

  • I have a 1980's Washburn KC 42V floyd rose in ex cond...in RI 350 with hard case.

  • I HAVE. I LOVE IT.

  • Where is that particular model made?

  • nice guitar, but where can i learn those riffes you play in the vid??

  • im sold on it

  • which is the song in 2:24

  • This is the best feeling neck I have played since I lost an old 70s SG with a custom neck - I suspect that custom neck also had a 14 inch radius - which I suspect is rare-- I have been trying to try out one of the shreder Washburns but there are simply not many Washburns inventoried in the stores-- I don't understand it bc you gotta play a guitar and feel it to want to buy one, ergo, to sell one???

  • how to do u play the first riff

  • i got a washburn, and its like super heavy, but still a really good guitar

  • I bet this thing is heavy as balls, but probably worth getting.

  • I play'd it yesterday, its really a lightweight ! And it feels really smooth!

  • @propagandos Haha, I just bought one not long ago. I love it.

  • cool. thanks for the info.

  • how much guitar like this costs?

  • 450 US Dollars approximately.

  • if you want an electric guitar for free pm me

  • I had this in Natural Stain.

  • this guitar look soo sweet.. and sound rly cool..

  • sickening its not made in a lefty anymore

  • not everyone plays heavy metal lol

  • @Radomu

    that isn't hevy metall.

  • They're having a guitar shredding contest where I live

    this is the main prize

    I gotta win so bad!!!!

  • ya you do, it's a sweet guitar

  • mi guitaaaaaaaaarr!!!

  • mine toooo

  • I have this exact guitar same color and everything, the only problem is I have a peavy valveking 212 and it sounds like total ass. I dont know if I got a defect amp that's just crappy or what but I haven't heard my guitar sound like this ever :(

  • the problem is that sound of your amp is very heavy. and this guitar greatly distorts the sound. I supose it's sounds with a lot of noise, very dirty. is it?

  • Yea it does sound dirty

  • I would highly recommend this guitar to any beginner/intermediate level player who wants a good quality guitar without breaking the bank. It's very light (solid mahogony but a very thin body) which might be desirable for younger players. You can usually find a used one on Ebay for around $200 or about $400 new.

  • @willievega I agree! LAME demo!

  • I absolutely love mine and the VCC system. I wouldn't swap it for anything.

  • @DireStraitsFTW not even for an american fender stratocaster deluxe?? :O

  • i bought one of these bad boys in 2004 I beleive it is the balls for the price all day. I would play this over a Les Paul Studio, the feel is awsome tone 2 thumbs up

  • i have that guitar.also my first

  • They had one at a second hand instrument shop across the street from where i work. I think someone had replaced the knobs, tuners and bottom string piece with this rustic looking copper pieces. Looked awesome. Was gonna buy it but someone beat me to it : /

  • what does everybody think of a washburn idol 14?

i have one and i want some criticism :D

  • it's pretty much the cheap guitar of the idol series, I love mine, much better that other cheapo guitars. It doesn't stay in tune as much as other guitars, but I don't mind. The pick-ups are a bit weird-sounding, not bad, but different.

  • yeah the tunings a little problem but i love it

    thanks :D

  • Easily one of the best guitars I own.

  • it would sound awesome playing Coheed and Cambria on that guitar!

  • You should hear Metallica played on this baby. She makes it wine! I love this guitar. Best one I've got.

  • i have it, and i love it

  • i 'm getting it (my second guitar)

  • i saw one at a gutiar store too but it was a joe trohman signature damen idol washburn and it looked great and played great.

In fact i asked for it for christmas
