dude the Mac OS is infinitely mroe secure and user-friendly than the Windows OS (especially Vista) has ever been or will ever be. The processors and CPU for Mac laptops are a lot more powerful than any Windows PC on the market, and the kernel for Mac OS X is without a doubt more stable than Windows.

The only reason MBPs don't have Core i7s is because Apple hasn't been in partnership with Intel nearly as long as Microsoft. Besides, the Max Clock speed of both sets is still 3.33GHz... I know i7s have 4 cores and core 2 duo has 2, but apple will surely begin to use the core i7s as soon as possible. And the "5%" stat is completely incorrect by the way... do better research. And besides, Apple's market share in notebooks (especially among professionals) far exceeds that of microsoft.

i7s have four cores with HT technology. Meaning, each physical core has two virtual cores running in parallel. Hence, 8 cores.

And I know Macs aren't for gaming: that's why I have game consoles. Better games are developed for windows PCs and I never doubted or denied that. That's about all that you can really say PCs are at though... the pro apps for editing video, audio, motion & graphics etc. are all on the Mac and are easily better than anything for PC no contest. So yea if you wanna game, get a PC, but get ready for it to crash, fail to register properly, and of course, get any of the 120,00+ viruses for windows

If you wanna be all picky about graphics fine, but that's a really narrow and pedantic way of looking at games.

Actually, they're dumb, in a way. I kinda tweaked my Vista up.

I don't only look at the graphics when playing games, I also look at the bloody gameplay.

The Vista on my laptop, to my surprise, isn't buggy or insecure at all, but a lil inconsistent.

Hence, I feel a lil insecure when using it because I don't know when it might actually die on me.

Sadly, I can't afford to downgrade to XP.
