this deck blows, dont pay attention it. back when mystical tutors are available and hes using two ad nauseams AND two tendrils, i dont think he'll ever win in actualy legacy trounys
Duress and/ or Thoughtseize is a good answer to FOW. Usually this deck generates enough mana to easily get around daze. Orim's Chant is good for this as well as is Post Sideboard Xantid Swarm and/ or Pyroblast are all good answers to FOW.
ndread85: I agree, two (2) Ad Nauseam Maindeck, WTF? Bad Tech!
@JimButter10 That's entirely matchup dependent. Force of Will and Daze are both in the format (of course) and are both played quite heavily, so your chances of dodging them completely are questionable.
@JimButter10 Oh, you thought I meant play those in this deck? Haha, hell no. I just meant that if you tried to go off on turn one with the card sequence you described, one of those counterspells would ruin the whole plan and you'd be back to square one, except with only 3 cards in hand.
He should have Necropotences, that way he can start the turn with all his mana all over again. He should also have Yawgy's Win, so he can use all the lotus petals, chrome moxs and the rituals all over again. WTF are the lion's eye diamonds for?
Both of those are banned in Legacy. Lion's Eye Diamond is to generate a lot of free mana as well as add another spell to the storm count. You play it the turn you go off and activate in response to an Ad Nauseam since you'll be drawing all you need at that point anyway, or in response to an Infernal Tutor to grab whatever you want.

That is by far the ugliest ANT deck I've ever seen.
hollywoodmkx 8 months ago
EXPENSIVE! I see at least $700 there
Hordesthugz13 9 months ago
Since Mystical Tutor was banned, you need more than 1 Ad Nauseum to be consistent enough.

@Salivorin Not true at all.

angels grace - draw your deck - win

I'm saying that the deck should only run one ADN. Most of the self-pwns I had playing storm was because of more than 1 ADN.

why the hell are there 2 ad nauseums...
ndread85 1 year ago
@ndread85 So when you use one, you (most likely) arn't flipping another and losing 5.
demonprince9 1 year ago
@ndread85 because when you play one. you dont want to lose 15 life from drawing the other 3

What a well thought out reply, if only everyone had the ability to put together such a well thought out argument as you

Awesome. I'm currently playing a little more budget friendly version of this for Legacy. Super fun deck.

Learn how to pronounce Nauseum, Gindy. Sorry, but it bothers me.

That's true. He's still pronouncing it wrong, though ;)
