  • I'm restoring a 1986 8122-G and the PTO is stuck on all the time. Your video is an inspiration to really do a nice job! Well done...

  • Hey i have a 816 and a 8123 and i plan on restoring them one day. Where did you get the new stickers??????????????

  • put some old mud tires on it & go muddin.

  • are you an idiot? this tractor is for show. its not a junker its finally restored! shows how smart you are.

  • who takes a lawn mower mud rideing??.. only a retard!!!!!!! i think!!

  • If its a shitty newer craftsman or sumthiing like that i understand, but older restored tractors?? Only a friggen retard would do that

  • hey were did you get your new decals i'm restoring a 1968 Simplicity Broadmoor and i dont know were to get new decals

  • yet another awesome gravely you have there- I'm lookin' for the big daddy 20g or an old 816, these riders are great!

  • I own a 12G, do you know what hp these are?

  • i think that the 8122 and 8123 had the old 12 hp kohler k301.

  • I have the same mower and am rebuilding motor. I lost the keyway in the tranny when I pulled it apart, any sugestions on how to get it out ? its not visible and my magnet keeps getting stuck on the gears! anyway well done on yours!!

  • name of the song is "More then a feeling" by the Band BOSTON.

  • name of the music please

  • Why didn't you put the hydrolics back on?

  • Didnt come with the Tractor.

  • very nicely restored. i just restored a small cub cadet too but it didn't turn out as nice as that.

  • very nice work bro.i enjoy seeing people enjoying what they like to do no matter what type of tractor.i too feel the posterity of keeping these tractors running so the next generation can have.iam a cub fan.

  • Looks good. You can get the original style gas cap on ebay, and also the correct front grill, as that one on your tractor is from a newer G series. Oh, and get a can of SEM Trim Black for the plastic steering column cover. That will really make it pop.

  • alright! not only is that an awesome restoration, but i get to listen to Boston as i watch it!

  • thats an awsome graveley!i did the same thing with my massey ferguson 7

  • very nice

  • Sad but I pulled my Kohler 12hp off the gravely 812 today, this is going on that case 226 tractor I have a video of it plowing snow. Anyway I am SELLING the gravely as parts or if someone wants it they can pick it up.

  • Could i pick it up? for free maybe? PLEASE let me know.

  • no sorry these days I can't afford to give nothing away it's hard times in my area. I am listing this on Ebay soon for parts OR as one piece, it has worn steering gear assembly and other issues but transmission is perfect.

  • COOL!!

  • Did you use spray Paint or a spray gun?

  • Nice job. I found a 4 wheeler with a 2 cylinder engine on swedish e-bay today. Mabye I buy it. Only have 2 wheelers now.

    Kenneth Ruda

  • Very nice job.

I rebuilt the Kohler in my Pro 20G last year. But now it really needs a decent paint job. Did you get new decals for yours ?

    Are they still available ?

    Andre

  • yes i did get new decals for it, and i am pretty sure they are still available, they were about $80

  • nice work..nice truck..and wt is the name of the song?

  • The song is "more than a feeling" - Boston

  • Wow!! that is one nice tractor. How long did it take you to completly overhaul it.

  • couple months but with lots of hard work

  • man how many tractors do ya need to plow geeez, lol...would u make a video of this in action i would really appreciate it, thanks :)

  • i would but something is still with the engine, like it makes a bad whirring sound i dont know if u ever seen the video asking for help, ill be taking a look at it soon

  • Nice job, hope I do half as good as U did when I re do mine.........

I got an 8123 I believe, same funny Gravely orange color as yours but entirely different than the Gravely orange on my 8183T?????

What program do you use to create your video n and music? Mac or PC?

Funny, my dad also got me into Gravely decades ago (2 wheelers)............

  • Do you got any attachments for it ?

  • not yet, but we may modify a plow to fit on it :)

  • Awesome...what we see here is some serious passion for old machines. You did it the right way too. Inpressive!

  • Thanks! how's your project going?

  • Well I am waiting for spring "still" and here it is MAR 21 but I did fire up the 812 last weekend. Funny it was the ONLY thing that ran last week all those other so called "engines" had typical problems but not thew Grav!

  • you should make a good video of it (another one) just because gravely's simply Pown any other tactors out there (like john deere) gravely could beat john deere anyday.

  • where did you get the paint? how did you get the factory paint colors to mach so perfectly

  • well, its a funny story actually, we got paint from TSC (tractor supply co.) and we couldnt find any paint to match good the gravely color... so we got a can that said "Ford" red and it ended up beign orangy red, basically same as the mustangy gravely red paint we needed, it was like a miracle!

  • ha, with the the holes in the side of it near the foot rest it looks like a cheese grader! LOL!

  • great video, i really like gravley especially because of the rear engines...its nice to see them getting restored, because they are usually dedicated to snow removal:)

  • Very cool restoration- did you order the decals or have em custom made?

  • i ordered them

  • hmm.... i hear your music this is the good stuff! your music mood changin lol?

  • i like tons of music

  • so im sure you like rap then "Mr.Modern" LOL! but i thought you only liked country?

  • o yeah that tranny looks like a mess w8ing to happen!!

  • Nah, didnt you see that RAW POWER!!!! POWERED BY THE BEST!! KOHLER!

  • dude really theres nothing specail about kohlers power ha, all it takes is on of them gears to brake and the tranny is junk!

  • nice job howd ya paint it? spray paint? what kind of primer did you use? how long did this take you id like to do this to a few of my lawn mowers id loved to do it to the ford! but the bolens would be worth more than the ford. the jd is already good! how much did this cost to do all this?!

  • idk, all the parts with askets, and different things a BUNCH of stuff had to be replaced and we overhauled it, so it cost about $300

  • hmmm well worth it then? now you should sell it, so did you your dad help with it AT ALL? so what kind of paint did you use? howd you clean the surface? im sure that took 4 ever!
