  • 2 people still aren't home yet! :P

  • the difference between this and their later stuff is proof that mind altering substances can result in creativity when used properly.

  • John Lennon could stretch the world "I" over several seconds. He was a true egomaniac.

  • great song......

  • Why wasn't a performance of every Beatles song captured on video?? DOH!! There needs to be an investigation!

  • C'mon, if you please

I've got no time for trivialities...

Has there every been a lyric couplet written that flows off the tongue as beautifully and effortlessly as that?

  • A perfect example of a John Lennon song: Forceful, insistant and melodic. Partially inane lyrics sung with such conviction that you can't help but move aside and say, "Pass, friend. I can see that you in a hurry and mean business..."

  • The Beatles are my musical parents and my biggest influence. Their intricate chord progressions and innovative arrangements aren't really shown until their later years, but this pop stuff really influences my pop stuff, as well. And i'm hoping some of you would be interested in giving some of my songs a shot(:

I only have two uploaded, but i'm looking for some feedback from the fanbase i wish to capture, because i know beatles fans are open-minded. Thank you for your little time (:

  • I always loved this song

  • 1965: "When I get home, I'll love her 'till the cows come home"

2011: "When I get home, I'll slap the cows and tell her a whole lot of things."

  • 1960's when i get home

    2011 when i get home i slap a bitch

  • Who else thought "Windows Movie Maker" when the title appeared?

  • Cmon guys, This is a beatles song, It doesnt matter who has the highest rated comment ._.

  • THE BEATLES/When I Get Home

    ジョンの圧倒的迫力ヴォーカル、勢いあるなァ…。

  • I love the stereo versions of them a billion times better than the mono versions. I never understood why George Martin was against the stereo versions. To me it's the difference between hearing what they sound like on the radio and live. Why would you want to hear them on the radio? You listen to this version it sounds like you are right there hearing them live.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain You'd understand George Martin's correct view on the "stereo" versions -- unmixed mono -- if you'd read his book, "All You Need is Ears".

  • @JamesTKirkCobain

I'm not quite sure, but I think that George Martin was against those stereo versions made at the begining of stereo times and whitout his supervision which simply put the voices and the guitar solo in one chanel and the whole band in the other chanel.

  • @neoconvers It's the other way round. Martin would make the stereo mixes himself when the Beatles were not present. In theory where the two mixes differ the mono is the closer to the original intention of the Beatles (though this rule seems to have many exceptions)
