sorry, but the car wash brushes don't get it. try 'bug scrubber' sponges with zep soap(a powder concentrate). u can buy the bug scrubbers @ your local walmart, they are app. 3x6inches with a netting type material encasing the skinny sponge(btw-snags will ruin it). it's the best way 2 get bugfree. old tar is nasty with no wax job, @ 2wks it'll come off, but older tar will be very set b4 it comes off.
btw-5starshine is a perm waxjob costs 100$+elbow grease but worth it, awesome effects on paint.

Also, try a product called "simple green" for the bug guts and other stuff. It seems to work great! Can be found in the automotive department at most stores.

really? my mom bought a brand new ford ranger back in 1996 and still has it only used automatic car washes and it still looks new how could that be ? if it takes YEARS off your paint job? lol

Your Insight came out nice. What kind of mileage are you getting with it? Some people are getting 80 to 125 mpg with their Insights.
